Quartet Records has announced a new soundtrack album featuring two early television scores composed by Academy Award winner John Williams (Star Wars, Raiders of the Lost Ark, E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial, Schindler’s List, Jurassic Park, Jaws, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone) who received his first two Emmy Awards for the projects. The album features the composer’s remastered and slightly expanded original music from the 1968 NBC movie Heidi based on the classic novel by Johanna Spyri, directed by Delbert Mann and starring Maximilian Schell, Jean Simmons, Michael Redgrave, Jennifer Edwards and Walter Slezak, as well as a remastered edition of his score from the 1970 TV movie Jane Eyre based on Charlotte Brontë’s classic novel, directed by Mann and starring George C. Scott and Susannah York.

Soundtrack Album for Netflix’s ‘World War II: From the Frontlines’ to Be Released
Netflix Music will release a soundtrack album for the streamer’s original documentary series World War II: From the Frontlines. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by David Schweitzer (Emma, The Afterparty, Our Great National Parks, Sanditon, The Reluctant Traveler, Trust No One: The Hunt for the Crypto King). The Vol. 1 album features selections of the show’s original music from the show’s first season/thirteen episodes composed by Kristopher Carter, Michael McCuistion & Lolita Ritmanis (Justice League, Young Justice, Babylon 5: The Road Home, Batman: The Brave and the Bold) and Shirley Walker (Final Destination, Batman: The Animated Series, Memoirs of an Invisible Man, Willard). ‘My Life with the Walter Boys’ Soundtrack Album Details
Madison Gate Records will release a soundtrack album for the Netflix original series My Life with the Walter Boys. The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by Brian H. Kim (Spoiler Alert, Search Party, Star vs. the Forces of Evil, Panic, BH90210). Also included is Light Up the Sky (Skylar’s Song) by the composer and performed by actor Corey Fogelmanis (listen to the track below). ‘Power Book III: Raising Kanan’ Season 3 Soundtrack Album Released
Lionsgate Records has released a new soundtrack album for the Starz original series Power Book III: Raising Kanan. The album features eight songs from the show’s third season, including Malik Hammond’s & Wayne Wilson’s Man Down, tracks by Antonio Ortiz & Hailey Kilgore (who both star in the series), Aliyah Turner, Liv Symone, Alicia Riley & others. The label has previously released an EP featuring the songs from Season 2 last year, while G-Unit Records has previously released the show’s theme song Part of the Game by 50 Cent back in 2021.
Nathan Micay Scoring Paramount+’s ‘Sexy Beast’ Prequel TV Series
Nathan Micay (Industry, Reality) has recently scored the upcoming British Paramount+ original series Sexy Beast. The show is a prequel to Jonathan Glazer’s 2000 feature of the same title (scored by Roque Banos) and stars James McArdle, Emun Elliott, Tamsin Greig, Stephen Moyer and Sarah Greene. The 8-part drama explores the origins of Gal and Don’s complicated relationship as they find themselves descending into the seductive madness of the London criminal world during the vibrant and volatile 1990s.

Premiering on Thursday, December 7, is the British limited series Archie written by Jeff Pope and stars Jason Isaacs, Harriet Walter, Dainton Anderson, Laura Aikman, Kara Tointon, Oaklee Pendergast and Calam Lynch. The show’s original music is composed by Lindsay Wright (Without Sin, This Is Joan Collins, The Mystery of D.B Cooper, The Whistleblowers). Silva Screen Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score this past Friday. Also premiering in the U.S. on Thursday is the British series The Lovers created by David Ireland, directed by Justin Martin and starring Rosin Gallagher, Johnny Flynn, Conleth Hill and Alice Eve. Lindsay Wright & Tawiah (Without Sin, Black Ops) and have composed the show’s original music. The 6-part romantic comedy, which centers on the relationship between a bad-tempered Belfast supermarket worker and a self-centered, political broadcaster with what looks to be a perfect London life and a celebrity girlfriend, premiered in the UK on Sky Atlantic and will make its domestic debut on Sundance Now and AMC+.
‘We Wish You a Merry Christmas’ Cover from ‘The Santa Clauses’ Season 2 Released
Hollywood Records has released the cover version of the holiday classic We Wish You a Merry Christmas from the second season of the Disney+ original series The Santa Clauses. The track is produced by the show’s composer Ariel Rechtshaid and is now available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms, including Amazon. Two other songs (Dancing with My Elf & Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)) from Season 2 of the series have been released as a digital single last month and an EP featuring more tracks will be coming out next week.
Matthew Margeson Scoring ‘RoboForce: The Animated Series’
Matthew Margeson (Kingsman, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children, Rocketman, Lyle, Lyle, Crocodile, Eddie the Eagle, Pam & Tommy) has been tapped to score RoboForce: The Animated Series. The show inspired by the action figures is set in 2089 and follows Maxx 89 and the rest of RoboForce trying to save the day when a rogue code infected the Utopia Aegis 101’s to turn on humanity. Brian Volk-Weiss (Behind the Attraction) is directing and is also executive producing the project with Nacelle’s Cisco Henson, Matt Kravitsky, Michael Goodman, Tom Stern & Gavin Hignight, as well as Seven Bucks Productions’ Dwayne Johnson, Dany Garcia (Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, Rampage) & Hiram Garcia (Black Adam, Jungle Cruise) and Brian Gewirtz (Young Rock).
‘Money Heist’ (‘La Casa de Papel’) Soundtrack Album Released
Netflix Music has released the first soundtrack album for the streamer’s Spanish hit series Money Heist (La casa de papel). The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by Manel Santisteban & Iván M. Lacámara (Sky Rojo, Vis a Vis). Money Heist is created by Álex Pina and stars Úrsula Corberó, Álvaro Morte, Itziar Ituño, Pedro Alonso, Jaime Lorente, Miguel Herrán, Darko Perić, Esther Acebo and Hovik Keuchkerian. The crime drama follows a group of robbers as they prepare heist on the Royal Mint of Spain and the Bank of Spain.
