Matthew Janszen (Aquaman: King of Atlantis, Fatal Affair, Bugs Bunny Builders, Love Accidentally) & Bryan Winslow (Vacation Home Nightmare) are scoring DreamWorks Animation’s upcoming film Megamind vs. the Doom Syndicate and TV series Megamind Rules!. Both the movie and TV show are written/developed by Alan Schoolcraft & Brent Simons based on the studios’ 2010 Megamind feature (scored by Hans Zimmer & Lorne Balfe), where the title character goes from being a supervillain and the scourge of Metro City to a superhero who’s learning on the job. The projects’ voice cast includes Keith Ferguson, Laura Post, Maya Aoki Tuttle, Josh Brener, Emily Tunon, Talon Warburton, Chris Sullivan, Scott Adsit, Tony Hale, Jeanine Mason and Adam Lambert.

‘Hazbin Hotel’ (Part 3) Soundtrack EP Released
A24 Music has released the third soundtrack EP for the Prime Video animated series Hazbin Hotel. The 4-track EP features the original songs from the final two episodes of the show’s first season written by Andrew Underberg & Sam Haft and performed by voice cast members Erika Henningsen, Daphne Rubin-Vega, Stephanie Beatriz, Amir Talai, Kimiko Glenn, Alex Brightman, Blake Roman, Leslie Kritzer, Keith David, Christian Borle, Joel Perez and Krystina Alabado. ‘Genius: MLK/X’ Soundtrack EP Announced
Hollywood Records has announced a soundtrack EP for the National Geographic limited series Genius: MLK/X. The 6-track EP features six original songs written for the show and performed by Jacob Banks, Rhiannon Giddens, Aloe Blacc, Fallon King and Felisha King Harvey. Soundtrack Album for Prime Video’s ‘Mr. & Mrs. Smith’ TV Series to Be Released
Sony Classical will release the official soundtrack album for the Prime Video original series Mr. & Mrs. Smith. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by David Fleming (The Last of Us, The Unforgivable, Damsel, Hillbilly Elegy, Blue Planet II, The Perfect Guy). Oliver Coates Scoring Starz’s & Sky’s ‘Mary & George’
Oliver Coates (Aftersun, The Stranger, Foe, Occupied City, Significant Other) is the composer of the upcoming Starz/Sky limited series Mary & George. The show is created by D.C. Moore and stars Julianne Moore, Nicholas Galitzine, Tony Curran, Nicola Walker, Niamh Algar, Sean Gilder, Trine Dyrholm, Adrian Rawlins, Laurie Davidson, Mark O’Halloran, Samuel Blenkin and Simon Russell Beale. The 7-part historical psychodrama is inspired by Benjamin Woolley’s nonfiction book The King’s Assassin and tells the true story of a treacherous mother and son who schemed, seduced and killed to conquer the Court of England and the bed of King James I.

Universal Music Latino will release a soundtrack album for the Spanish Prime Video original series Zorro. The album features fourteen songs from the show performed by artists such as Carin Leon, Keith Urban, Rosario Flores, Juanes, Arturo Sandoval, Morat, Riza, Maura & others. The soundtrack, which is produced by Julio Reyes Copello, will be released digitally on March 1 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Platoon has released a new soundtrack EP for the Apple TV+ animated series Sago Mini Friends. The 5-track EP features the original songs from the second season of the show written by the show’s composer Paul Buckley (Happily N’Ever After, Malcolm & Eddie, Helpsters, The Reef). Atticus Ross (The Social Network, Watchmen, Soul, Gone Girl, Mank), Leopold Ross (Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, The Book of Eli, Death Note,Triple 9) & Nick Chuba (The Girl from Plainville, Dr. Death, Thelma) have recently scored the upcoming FX limited series Shōgun. The show is developed by Rachel Kondo & Justin Marks based on James Clavell’s novel and stars Hiroyuki Sanada, Cosmo Jarvis, Anna Sawai, Tadanobu Asano, Takehiro Hira, Hiroto Kanai, Moeka Hoshi, Shinnosuke Abe, Tokuma Nishioka, Yuki Kura, Yuka Kouri and Fumi Nikaido. The 10-part historical drama is set in Japan in the year 1600 at the dawn of a civil war and follows Lord Yoshii Toranaga who is fighting for his life as his enemies on the Council of Regents unite against him, when a mysterious European ship is found marooned in a nearby fishing village.
