Walt Disney Records has released the first track from the soundtrack for Lucasfilm’s Disney+ animated special LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy. Premiering today is the MGM+ original documentary series Hollywood Black directed by Justin Simien and inspired by the book from historian Donald Bogle. Kris Bowers (Bridgerton, Green Book, King Richard, Secret Invasion, The Color Purple, Haunted Mansion, Space Jam: A New Legacy) has contributed the main titles theme and Camilo Forero (Beckham, Earthstorm) has composed the show’s original score for Bleeding Fingers Music. The 4-parter, which chronicles a century of the Black experience in Hollywood by unearthing personal stories from actors, writers, producers and directors who fought for their place on the page, will be available to stream exclusively on MGM+.
Premiering on Wednesday, August 14, is the Apple TV+ original series Bad Monkey developed by Bill Lawrence and starring Vince Vaughn, L. Scott Caldwell, Meredith Hagner, Rob Delaney, Michelle Monaghan, Alex Moffat, Natalie Martinez, Scott Glenn and Jodie Turner-Smith. The show’s original music is composed by Waz & Jamie Jackson (Cougar Town, Life Sentence, Bluff City Law, Surviving Jack, Rush Hour). WaterTower Music will release a soundtrack album featuring the composers’ score, as well as the Tom Petty covers created by the project by artists such as Eddie Vedder, Larkin Poe, Weezer, The War on Drugs & others on October 4. ‘Bad Monkey’ Soundtrack Album Announced

Soundtrack Album for Netflix’s ‘Beckham’ Documentary Series Released
Netflix Music has released a soundtrack album for the streamer’s original documentary series Beckham. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Anže Rozman (Prehistoric Planet, Universe, The Planets, Great Bear Rainforest) & Camilo Forero (Earthstorm, Hollywood Black) for Bleeding Fingers Music who received an Emmy Award nomination for their score. Vittoria Schisano’s ‘Gloria’ Cover from Netflix’s ‘The Life You Wanted’ Released
Netflix Music has released the cover version of the Umberto Tozzi song Gloria from the Italian Netflix limited series The Life You Wanted (La vita che volevi). The track (originally written by Tozzi & Giancarlo Bigazzi) is performed by lead actress Vittoria Schisano and is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. The label has previously released a full soundtrack album featuring Gabriele Roberto’s original score from the show this past June. The Life You Wanted is created by Ivan Cotroneo & Monica Rametta and also stars Giuseppe Zeno, Pina Turco, Alessio Lapice, Nicola Bello, Michele De Virgilio, Bellarch and Francesca Pia Di Nola.

Writer/director James Gunn has revealed that Clint Mansell (Black Swan, Requiem for a Dream, Moon, Noah, The Fountain, The Wrestler) & Kevin Kiner (Ahsoka, Star Wars: The Clone Wars & The Bad Batch, Narcos: Mexico, CSI: Miami, Hell on Wheels) are teaming up to score the upcoming Max adult animated original series Creature Commandos. The show is written by Gunn (Guardians of the Galaxy, The Suicide Squad) based on DC Characters and features the voices of Steve Agee, Maria Bakalova, Zoe Chao, Anya Chalotra, Frank Grillo, David Harbour, Sean Gunn, Alan Tudyk, Indira Varma and Viola Davis. The DC Studios & Warner Bros. Animation production tracks a secret team of incarcerated monsters recruited for missions deemed too dangerous for humans.
