The film is directed by Burr Steers (17 Again, Charlie St. Cloud, Igby Goes Down) and stars Lily James, Bella Heathcote, Sam Riley, Jack Huston, Douglas Booth, Matt Smith, Charles Dance and Lena Headey. The movie is based on the 2009 novel by Seth Grahame-Smith (Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter, Dark Shadows) and is a new take on Jane Austen’s classic tale of the tangled relationships between lovers from different social classes in 19th century England, which is faced with a new challenge -an army of undead zombies.

The Newton Brothers have been hired to score the upcoming indie drama Wolf Who Cried Boy. The film is written and directed by Luke Jaden & Cort Johns and stars Barkhad Abdi, Torrey Wigfield, Dwight Henry and Peter Carey. The movie centers on a young man who gets swept into the seedy underbelly of the scrapping industry. Jaden and Johns are also producing the project with Frank Capra III, Phil Wurtzel, Anthony Garth, Michael Zervos and Andy Henry. Wolf Who Cried Boy is currently in post-production.
Austin Wintory to Score Amin Matalqa’s ‘The Rendezvous’
Austin Wintory is reuniting with director Amin Matalqa on the upcoming action adventure The Rendezvous. The film stars Stana Katic, Raza Jaffrey, Alfonso Bassave, Ron Guttman, Glenn Fleshler, Darby Stanchfield, and Nadim Sawalha. The movie follows an unlikely pair who find themselves swept up in a deadly race to find a sacred Dead Sea Scroll hidden in the ancient city of Petra. Terrel Seltzer (One Fine Day, How I Got Into College) has written the screenplay. Dan Halsted (Garden State, Any Given Sunday, The Virgin Suicides) is producing the project with Tricia Gibbs.

Danny Bensi and Saunder Jurriaans are scoring the upcoming psychological thriller The Blunderer. The film is directed by Andy Goddard (Downton Abbey, Torchwood) and stars Patrick Wilson, Jessica Biel, Haley Bennett and Toby Jones. The movie based on the novel of the same title by Patricia Highsmith (The Talented Mr. Ripley, Strangers on a Train) is set in 1960s New York and follows a successful architect whose with an unsolved murder leads him into a spiral of chaos as he is forced to play cat-and-mouse with a clever killer and an over-ambitious detective. Susan Boyd wrote the screenplay.
Thomas Newman Scoring Davis Guggenheim’s ‘He Named Me Malala’
Thomas Newman is composing the music for the upcoming documentary He Named Me Malala. The film is directed by Davis Guggenheim (An Inconvenient Truth, Waiting for Superman) and tells the story of Nobel Peace Prize Laureate Malala Yousafzai, who was targeted by the Taliban and severely wounded by a gunshot when returning home on her school bus in Pakistan’s Swat Valley. The movie also examines how Malala, her father, Zia, and her family are now committed to fighting for education for all girls. Guggenheim is also producing the project with Walter Parkes & Laurie MacDonald (Men in Black, The Ring, Catch Me If You Can, Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events).

Rupert Gregson-Williams has been tapped to score the upcoming Netflix original movie The Ridiculous 6. The film is directed by Frank Coraci (Click, The Waterboy, The Wedding Singer) and stars Adam Sandler, Taylor Lautner, Nick Nolte, Will Forte, Rob Schneider, Blake Shelton, Whitney Cummings, Steve Buscemi, Luke Wilson, Steve Zahn, Danny Trejo, Chris Parnell, Lavell Crawford, Dan Aykroyd, Nick Swardson, Terry Crews, Jon Lovitz and Vanilla Ice. No plot details have been announced yet, but the movie is said to be a comedic take on westerns.

Alexandre Azaria has composed the music for the upcoming action thriller The Transporter Refueled. The film is a reboot of the Transporter series starring Jason Statham and stars Ed Skrein as Frank Martin, the most highly-skilled transporter money can buy. The movie is directed by Camille Delamarre (Brick Mansions) and co-stars Ray Stevenson, Loan Shabanon, Gabriella Wright, Radivoje Bukvić, Anatole Taubman, Wenxia Yu and Tatiana Pajković. Bill Collage & Adam Cooper (Exodus: Gods and Kings, Accepted) wrote the screenplay with Luc Besson (The Professional, Lucy, The Fifth Element) who is also producing the project with Mark Gao.

Chris Hajian has been tapped to score the upcoming crime thriller Infiltrator. The film is directed by Brad Furman (The Lincoln Lawyer, Runner Runner) and stars Bryan Cranston, Diane Kruger, John Leguizamo, Benjamin Bratt and Amy Ryan. The movie is based on the true story of undercover agent Robert Mazur, who became a pivotal player for drug lords in the 1980s, cleaning their dirty cash. Ellen Brown Furman wrote the screenplay. Miriam Segal (Good) is producing the Good Films production with Don Sizorski.
Geoff Zanelli Scoring Jared Hess’ ‘Masterminds’
Geoff Zanelli is composing the score for the upcoming heist comedy Masterminds. The film is directed by Jared Hess (Napoleon Dynamite, Nacho Libre) and stars Zach Galifianakis, Kristen Wiig, Owen Wilson, Jason Sudeikis, Kate McKinnon, Jon Daley and Ken Marino. The movie follows a disgruntled armored car driver who teams up with a pretty co-worker and a group of inexperienced criminals to steal nearly $20 million from a bank vault. Chris Bowman and Hubbel Palmer wrote the screenplay based on an original script by Emily Spivey.
