Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the romantic action adventure comedy Ghosted. The album features the film’s original music composed by Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible – Fallout, Black Widow, Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, Top Gun: Maverick, His Dark Materials, The LEGO Batman Movie, Black Adam). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, April 21 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Ghosted is directed by Dexter Fletcher and stars Chris Evans, Ana de Armas, Adrian Brody, Amy Sedaris, Tate Donovan, Mike Moh and Tim Blake Nelson. The movie follows an alt-of-the-earth man who falls for an enigmatic woman, when he discovers that she’s a secret agent and gets away on an international adventure to save the world.

Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible – Fallout, Black Widow, His Dark Materials, Top Gun: Maverick, The LEGO Batman Movie, Bad Boys for Life) has composed the original music for the upcoming comedy Ghosted. The film is directed by Dexter Fletcher (Rocketman, Eddie the Eagle) and stars Chris Evans, Ana de Armas, Adrian Brody, Tate Donovan, Amy Sedaris, Tim Blake Nelson and Mike Moh. The romantic action adventure follows an alt-of-the-earth man who falls head over heels for an enigmatic woman, when he makes the shocking discovery that she’s a secret agent.
‘Rocketman’ Soundtrack Album Announced
Interscope Records will release the official soundtrack album for the biographical drama Rocketman. The album features the classic Elton John songs from the movie performed by lead actor Targon Egerton who stars as the singer/songwriter, as well as other cast members. Also included is the original song (I’m Gonna) Love Me Again written by John & Bernie Taupin and performed by John & Egerton. Rocketman is directed by Dexter Fletcher and also stars Jamie Bell, Richard Madden, Gemma Jones and Bryce Dallas Howard. The musical drama will be released in theaters nationwide on May 31 by Paramount Pictures.
Matthew Margeson to Reunite with Dexter Fletcher’s on Elton John Biopic ‘Rocketman’
Composer Matthew Margeson is reuniting with director Dexter Fletcher on the upcoming biographical drama Rocketman. The film stars Taron Egerton as Elton John, Jamie Bell as Bernie Taupin, Richard Madden and music manager John Reid, as well as Bryce Dallas Howard as John’s mother. The movie explores John’s emergence as a prodigy at the Royal Academy of Music to becoming a music superstar and his partnership with songwriting collaborator Taupin. Lee Hall (War Horse, Billy Elliot) wrote the screenplay.
‘Eddie the Eagle’ Score Album Details
The details of the score album for the sports comedy drama Eddie the Eagle have been revealed. The album features the film’s original music composed by Matthew Margeson (Kingsman: The Secret Service, Kick-Ass 2, Miss Peregrine’s Children for Peculiars). The soundtrack will be released digitally on March 11, 2016 and physically on March 25 by Varese Sarabande. Visit Amazon to pre-order the CD. The movie produced by Matthew Vaughn tells the story of ski jumper Michael Edwards who rose to fame at the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary.

The film is directed by Dexter Fletcher (Sunshine on Leith, Wild Bill) and stars Taron Egerton, Hugh Jackman, Christopher Walken, Jo Hartley, Tim McInnerny and Ania Sowinski. The movie tells the story of ski jumper Michael Edwards who rose to fame as the very-last-place finisher in two events at the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary, but left as a scene-stealing poster boy for never-say-die underdogs everywhere. Simon Kelton and Sean Macauley have written the screenplay.
Paul Englishby Scoring ‘Sunshine on Leith’
This week, Paul Englisby has recorded his score for the film adaptation of the stage musical Sunshine on Leith. The movie is directed by Dexter Fletcher (Wild Bill) and stars Peter Mullan, Jane Horrocks, George McKay, Kevin Guthrie, Antonia Thomas and Freya Mavor. Stephen Greenhorn has written screenplay based on his musical, which takes the lyrics of songs from the Scottish pop-folk band The Proclaimers and uses them in story about a young man and a woman who have to re-learn how to live life in Edinburgh after coming home from serving in Afghanistan. Andrew Macdonald (Trainspotting, 28 Days Later) & Allon Reich (Dredd, Never Let Me Go) are producing the project for DNA Films and Arabella Page Croft & Kieran Parker (Outpost, Legacy) are producing for Black Camel Pictures.
