The film is directed by Nick Hamm (The Hole, Godsend) and stars Timothy Spall, Colm Meaney, John Hurt, Toby Stephens and Freddie Highmore. The movie centers on the events preceding the historic 2006 St. Andrews Agreement, which brought peace to Northern Ireland after years of violent strife between Unionist and Republican factions. Colin Bateman (Divorcing Jack, Murphy’s Law) has written the screenplay. Hamm is also producing the project with Piers Tempest (Robot Overlords, Grabbers), Mark Huffam (The Martian, Johnny English), Matt Jackson (End of Watch, Snitch) and Stuart Ford.

Christopher Lennertz to Score Seth Gordon’s ‘Baywatch’
Christopher Lennertz is officially set to compose the original score for the upcoming action comedy Baywatch. The film is directed by Seth Gordon (The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters, Four Christmases) and stars Dwayne Johnson, Zac Efron, Alexandra Daddario, Priyanka Chopra, Kelly Rohrbach, Ilfenesh Hadera, Jon Bass, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson. The movie is based on the hit TV series, which premiered in 1989 and follows two unlikely prospective lifeguards who vie for jobs alongside the buff bodies who patrol a beach in California. Damian Shannon and Mark Swift (Freddy vs. Jason) have written the final version of the screenplay.

Ilan Eshkeri is composing the music for the upcoming period drama The Kaiser’s Last Kiss. The film is directed by David Leveaux and stars Lily James, Jai Courtney, Christopher Plummer, Janet McTeer, Eddie Marsan and Ben Daniels. The movie follows a German soldier who tries to determine if the Dutch resistance has planted a spy to infiltrate the home of Kaiser Wilhelm in Holland during the onset of World War II, but falls for a young Jewish Dutch woman during his investigation. Simon Burke (Persuasion) has written the screenplay based on Alan Judd’s novel.
Rachel Portman Scoring Lasse Hallstrom’s ‘A Dog’s Purpose’
Rachel Portman is reteaming with director Lasse Hallstrom on the upcoming drama A Dog’s Purpose. The film starring Dennis Quaid, Britt Robertson, Peggy Lipton, K.J. Apa, Juliet Rylance, Luke Kirby, John Ortiz and Pooch Hal is based on the bestselling 2010 novel of the same title by W. Bruce Cameron and centers on one devoted dog (voiced by Bradley Cooper) who finds the meaning of his own existence through the lives of the humans he loves by teaching them to laugh and love. Cameron and his wife Cathryn Michon have written the screenplay. Gavin Polone (Gilmore Girls, Panic Room, 8MM, Secret Window) is producing the Amblin Entertainment & Walden Media production.

Dan Romer has recently composed the score for the upcoming indie drama Katie Says Goodbye. The film is written and directed by Wayne Roberts and stars Olivia Cooke, Mireille Enos, Christopher Abbott, Jim Belushi and Mary Steenburgen. The movie follows a kindhearted 17-year-old in the American Southwest who turns to prostitution to fulfill her dream of a new life in San Francisco. James Lavino has been hired to score the upcoming indie drama One Last Thing. The film is written and directed by Tim Rouhana and stars Wendell Pierce (The Wire, Treme), Joanne Froggatt (Downton Abbey) and Jurnee Smollet-Bell (Underground). The movie tells the story of a lonely dentist in Florida whose days are filled by work and his solo daily golf game and who begins to journey outside his comfort zone when he’s confronted by a figure from the past and finds out that he has an adult daughter living in Brooklyn. Alexa L. Fogel and Brendan Mason are producing the Beech Hill Films & Low Profile Films production.
Daniel Pemberton Scoring Guy Ritchie’s ‘King Arthur: Legend of the Sword’
Daniel Pemberton is reteaming with director Guy Ritchie on the upcoming fantasy adventure King Arthur: Legend of the Sword. The film stars Charlie Hunnam, Astrid Bergès-Frisbey, Djimon Hounsou, Aidan Gillen, Jude Law and Eric Bana. The movie is a new take on the classic Excalibur myth, tracing Arthur’s journey from the streets to the throne. Ritchie has also written the screenplay with Lionel Wigram (Sherlock Holmes) and Joby Harold (Awake). They are also producing the project with Akiva Goldsman (A Beautiful Mind, Constantine, Hancock), Tory Tunnell (Underground) and Steve Clark-Hall (The Winter Guest).

Alan Lazar is composing the music for the upcoming Netflix original movie The Most Hated Woman in America. The film is directed by Tommy O’Haver (Get Over It, Ella Enchanted) and stars Melissa Leo, Peter Fonda, Josh Lucas, Adam Scott, Juno Temple, Vincent Kartheiser, Rory Cochran, Michael Chernus, Sally Kirkland, Anna Camp and Alex Frost. The movie tells the true story of Madalyn Murray O’Hair, an American atheist activist who convinced the Supreme Court to overturn prayer in public schools and was later kidnapped and murdered by a former member of her organization along with her son and granddaughter. O’Haver has also written the screenplay with Irene Turner.

The film is directed by Jeff Wadlow (Kick-Ass 2, Never Back Down, Cry_Wolf) and stars Kevin James, Zulay Henao, Andy Garcia, Maurice Compte, Kelen Coleman, Andrew Howard, Rob Riggle, Leonard Earl Howze, Yul Vazquez and Kim Coates. The action comedy follows a mild-mannered would-be author who gets mistaken for a killer-for-hire when his fictional novel about an international assassin is published as a true story. Wadlow has also written the screenplay with Jeff Morris (Grumpy Cat’s Worst Christmas Ever).
