Alexandre Desplat has recently composed the music for the upcoming French/Belgian drama Heal the Living (Réparer les vivants). The film is directed by Katell Quillévéré (Suzanne) and stars Tahar Rahim, Emmanuelle Seigner, Anne Dorval, Bouli Lanners, Kool Shen, Monia Chokri, Alice Taglioni, Alice de Lencquesaing, Karim Leklou, Finnegan Oldfield and Dominique Blanc. The movie is based on Maylis de Kerangal’s novel and draws three seemingly unrelated stories together into a tale about the moment when tragedy meets hope. Quillévéré has also written the screenplay with Gilles Taurand (Farewell, My Queen, Thieves).
