The film is written and directed by Zahler and stars Mel Gibson, Vince Vaughn, Don Johnson, Jennifer Carpenter, Michael Jai White and Tattiawna Jones. The movie revolves around an old guard policeman an his volatile younger partner who find themselves suspended when a video of their strong-arming tactics become the media’s special du jour.

William Ross has recently composed the music for the upcoming romantic comedy Destination Wedding. The film is written and directed by Vicor Levin (5 to 7, Survivor’s Remorse) and stars Winona Ryder and Keanu Reeves. The movie revolves around two miserable and unpleasant wedding guests who develop a mutual affection in spite of themselves. Hans Zimmer to Score Steve McQueen’s ‘Widows’
Hans Zimmer has been hired to score the upcoming thriller Widows. The film is directed by Steve McQueen (Shame) and stars Viola Davis, Michelle Rodriguez, Elizabeth Debicki, Cynthia Erivo, Colin Farrell, Brian Tyree Henry, Daniel Kaluuya, Garret Dillahunt, Carrie Coom, Jacki Weaver, Jon Bernthal, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Robert Duvall and Liam Neeson. The movies is based on the 1983 British miniseries of the same title and follows four armed robbers who are killed in a failed heist attempt, leaving their widows to finish the job.

Patrick Kirst (The Kissing Booth, Rigged) has recently recorded his score for the upcoming crime thriller Inherit the Viper. The film is directed by Anthony Jerjen and stars Josh Hartnett, Margarita Levieva, Bruce Dern, Owen Teague, Valorie Curry, Chandler Riggs and Dash Mihok. The movie is set set in West Virginia and follows three siblings as they try to escape the spiral of violence that has held them captive since their father’s passing. Andrew Crabtree wrote the screenplay.

Lesley Barber has been tapped to score the upcoming comedy Late Night. The film is directed by Nisha Ganatra and stars Emma Thompson, Mindy Kaling, John Lithgow, Hugh Dancy, Amy Ryan, Reid Scott, Paul Walter Hauser, Denis O’Hare, John Early, Max Casella and Megalyn Echikunwoke. The movie centers on a late-night talk show host who is at risk of losing her long-running show right when she hires her first female writer who revitalizes her show and her life. Kaling (The Mindy Project, The Office) also wrote the screenplay and is producing the Imperative Entertainment and FilmNation Entertainment production with Howard Klein (Jessica Jones).

The movie follows a big-box store employee who reinvents her life and her lifestyle to prove to Madison Avenue that street smarts are as valuable as a college degree. Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas (Maid in Manhattan, Kidnap) and Justin Zackham (The Bucket List, The Big Wedding) wrote the screenplay and are also producing the project with Lopez and Benny Medina (The Fighting Temptations, The Boy Next Door).

The film is directed by Julius Onah (The Cloverfield Paradox) and stars Kelvin Harrison Jr., Naomi Watts, Octavia Spencer and Tim Roth. The movie is based on J.C. Lee’s play of the same title and revolves around an African teenager and former child soldier living in a suburb and his relationship to a teacher who becomes aware of his views on political violence. Onah also co-wrote the screenplay with Lee and is producing the project with John Baker (Frank & Lola) and Andrew Yang.

The movie is based on Sawka’s short of the same title and centers on a young boy from Honduras who is forced to leave his home country and attempt to reach his uncle in the United States. James L. Greathouse.
