The film is directed by Ryan White and centers on the assassination of Kim Jong-nam, the half brother of the North Korean leader. The movie follows the trial of the two female assassins and probes the question whether the women were trained killers or innocent pawns of North Korea. White is also producing the Tripod Media production with Jessica Hargrave.

Owen Pallett Scoring Matt Wolf’s ‘Spaceship Earth’
Owen Pallett (Her, The Box, Life) has recently scored the upcoming documentary Spaceship Earth. The film is directed by Matt Wolf (Teenage, Recorder: The Marion Stokes Project) and tells the story of a group of countercultural visionaries who built an enormous replica of earth’s ecosystem called Biosphere 2 in 1991. The movie follows the countercultural collective over half of a century, as they conducted experiments around the globe leading up to Biosphere 2.

The film is directed by Nicole Newnham (The Rape of Europa) & Jim LeBrecht and centers on a group of campers turned activists who shaped the future of the disability-rights movement and changed accessibility legislation for everyone. Newnham & LeBrecht are also producing the project with Sara Bolder. Barack & Michelle Obama who produced last year’s Netflix documentary American Factory serve as executive producers.

The film is written and directed by Remi Weekes and stars Wunmi Mosaku, Sope Dirisu and Matt Smith. The movie follows a young refugee couple who makes a harrowing escape from war-torn South Sudan, but then struggle to adjust to their new life in a small English town that has an evil lurking beneath the surface.
David Bateman to Score Andrew Lawrence’s ‘Money Plane’
David Bateman (A New Christmas, The Assault, A Girl Like Her) has been hired to score the upcoming heist thriller Money Plane. The film marks the feature directorial debut of actor Andrew Lawrence and stars Adam Copeland (a.k.a WWE’s Edge), Kelsey Grammer, Thomas Jane and Denise Richards. The movie follows a professional thief who must rob an futuristic underworld criminal casino on an airplane to settle a debt with his ruthless employer. Lawrence also co-wrote the screenplay with Tim Schaaf.

The film’s cast includes Tom Holland, Bill Skarsgard, Jack Reynor, Forrest Goodluck, Ciara Bravo, Jeff Wahlberg, Michael Gandolfini and Kyle Harvey. The movie is based on Nico Walker’s New York Times bestselling novel and tells the true story of the author, a former Army medic who returned from Iraq with extreme undiagnosed PTSD and fell into an opioid addiction and began robbing banks.

The film is directed by Emma Sullivan who started documenting amateur inventor Peter Madsen in 2016. A year later, Madsen brutally murdered Swedish journalist Kim Wall on his homemade submarine in the waterways outside Copenhagen. Mette Heide (Amanda Knox) and Roslyn Walker are producing the project.
