The film is directed by Augustine Frizzell (Never Goin’ Back) and stars Felicity Jones, Shailene Woodley, Callum Turner, Nabhaan Rizwan, Joe Alwyn and Ncuti Gatwa. The movie is based on the best-selling novel of the same title by Jojo Moyes and follows a young journalist in contemporary London who uncovers a series of love letters recounting a star-crossed affair in the 1960s. Nick Payne (The Sense of an Ending) and Esta Spalding (On Becoming a God in Central Florida) wrote the screenplay.
Adam Janota Bzowski to Score Andrew Cumming’s ‘The Origin’
Adam Janota Bzowski (Saint Maud) has been tapped to score the upcoming British horror movie The Origin. The Stone Age-set film is directed by Andrew Cumming (Clique) and stars Chuku Modu, Kit Young, Iola Evans, Safia Oakley-Green, Arno Lüning and Luna Mwezi. No plot details have been announced yet. Ruth Greenberg wrote the screenplay. Oliver Kassman who collaborated with the composer on Rose Glass’ Saint Maud is producing the project for Escape Plan.

The film is directed by Chris Smith (Fyre, Jim & Andy: The Great Beyond, Tiger King), written by Jon Karmen and examines the methods used by Rick Singer, the man at the center of the shocking 2019 college admissions scandal, to persuade his wealthy clients to cheat an educational system already designed to benefit the privileged. The movie uses innovative combination of interviews and narrative recreations of the FBI’s wiretapped conversations between Singer (portrayed by Matthew Modine) and his clients.

The movie revolves around a convicted felon who gets early parole after serving twelve years for armed robbery and, after he gets released from prison, he vows to give his childhood love, who is dying from cancer, the best last year of her life.
