The full details of the soundtrack album for Marvel Studios’ The Marvels have been revealed. The album features the film’s original music composed by Laura Karpman (Ms. Marvel, Lovecraft Country, American Fiction, What If..?, Underground, Set It Up). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, November 8 by Hollywood Records & Marvel Music and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. A first track (Higher. Further. Faster. Together) has already been released as a digital single last Friday. The Marvels is co-written and directed by Nia DaCosta and stars Brie Larson, Teyonah Parris, Iman Vellani, Samuel L. Jackson, Zawe Ashton, Gary Lewis, Seo-Jun Park, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur and Saagar Shaikh. The movie follows Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel who must team up with Jersey City super-fan, Kamala Khan aka Ms. Marvel, and her estranged niece, now S.A.B.E.R. astronaut Captain Monica Rambeau, to save the universe.

Milan Records has released the end credits theme song from the animated feature The Imaginary. Available to stream/download now on all major digital music services is Nothing’s Impossible written by A Great Big World and performed by the Grammy Award-winning duo feat. singer/songwriter Rachel Platten. Harrold and Emily Gravett’s novel of the same name and tells the story of a boy no one can see who lives in a world where imaginations can live and be eaten by others.
Expanded and Remastered ‘Tess’ Soundtrack Album Announced
Music Box Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1979 drama Tess directed by Roman Polanski and starring Nastassja Kinski, Peter Firth, Leigh Lawson, Rosemary Martin, John Collin, Richard Pearson and Carolyn Pickles. The album features the film’s Academy Award-nominated expanded and remastered original score composed by Philippe Sarde (The Tenant, Quest for Fire, Lord of the Flies, Pirates, Barocco, Ghost Story, Nelly & Monsieur Arnaud) and performed by the London Symphony Orchestra, including previously unreleased music. The CD, which is limited to 1,000 copies, is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also check out the full album details and listen to audio samples.
‘The Deep Dark’ Soundtrack Album Released
Ameo Publishing has released a soundtrack album for the French horror thriller The Deep Dark (Gueules Noires). The track list of the soundtrack album for the prequel The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes has been revealed. The album features seventeen songs from and inspired by the film performed by lead actress Rachel Zegler (including her previously released rendition of The Hanging Tree), Flatland Cavalry, Sierra Ferrell, Molly Tuttle, Bella White, Billy Strings, The Covey Band, Charles Wesley Godwin & others. Already available now on all major digital music platforms is the original song Can’t Catch Me Now co-written (with Dan Nigro) and performed by Olivia Rodrigo (listen to the full track after the jump). Dave Cobb serves as the project’s executive music producer. The soundtrack will be released digitally on November 17 by Geffen Records and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A CD version is set to be released on January 19, 2024 (click here to order) and a vinyl edition will be coming out a few weeks later (click here to pre-order). As previously reported, Sony Masterworks will release a separate album featuring James Newton Howard’s original score on the same day.
