Four new movies are opening wide this weekend:
Opening in most theaters is the thriller 10 Cloverfield Lane directed by Dan Trachtenberg and starring John Goodman, Mary Elizabeth Winstead and John Gallagher Jr. The film’s original music is composed by Bear McCreary (Battlestar Galactica, The Walking Dead, Outlander, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.). Also opening wide is the action comedy The Brothers Grimsby directed by Louis Letterier and starring Sacha Baron Cohen, Mark Strong, Isla Fisher, Rebel Wilson, Gabourey Sidibe and Penélope Cruz. The film’s original music is composed by David Buckley (The Good Wife, The Forbidden Kingdom, From Paris with Love) and Erran Baron Cohen (Borat, The Dictator, Bruno). The Brothers Grimsby follows a British black ops spy who is forced to team up with his idiotic English football hooligan brother. No soundtrack album has been announced. Opening in around 900 theaters is the romantic comedy The Perfect Match directed by Bille Woodruff and starring Terrence J, Cassie Ventura, Paula Patton, Donald Faison, Lauren London, Dascha Polanco, Joe Pantoliano, French Montana, Brandy Norwood and Robin Givens. Kurt Farquhar (The King of Queens, Moesha, Stitchers) has composed the film’s original music. The Perfect Match explores what happens when a successful playboy meets his match. Brian H. Kim (Significant Mother, Star vs. the Forces of Evil) has composed the film’s original music. Trevor Morris (The Borgias, Vikings, Olympus/London Has Fallen, Immortals) has composed the film’s original music.
