Netflix Music has released a soundtrack album for the South Korean Netflix original film Uprising. The album features the movie’s original music composed by Cho Young-wuk (Oldboy, The Handmaiden, The Sympathizer, Lady Vengeance, Decision to Leave, Thirst, The Little Drummer Girl). Uprising is directed by Kim Sang-man, co-written and produced by Park Chan-wook and stars Gang Dong-won, Park Jeong-min, Cha Seung-won, Jin Sun-kyu and Kim Shin-rock. The historical action drama takes place during the Joseon Dynasty and follows two friends who grew up together – one the master and one the servant – as they reunite post-war as enemies on opposing sides. The film just premiered today and is now available to stream on Netflix.
