The Orchard has released a soundtrack album for the comedy Coup!. The album features the film’s original music composed by Nathan Halpern (The Rider, Emily the Criminal, Swallow, Watcher, In the Same Breath, Minding the Gap, Consecration). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s title track after the jump. Coup! is written and directed by Joseph Schuman & Austin Stark and stars Peter Sarsgaard, Billy Magnussen, Sarah Gadon and Skye P. Marshall. The movie follows a mysterious grifter who appears on an isolated seaside estate claiming to be the new chef of a wealthy family and – when a plague descends on the island – rouses his fellow staff to rebel and take over the mansion. The comedy premiered at last year’s Venice Film Festival and is being released in select U.S. theaters this weekend by Greenwich Entertainment.
