Mychael Danna (Life of Pi, Moneyball, Capote, The Ice Storm, The Good Dinosaur, The Addams Family) is currently recording his score for the upcoming drama Stillwater. The film is directed by Tom McCarthy (Spotlight, The Visitor, The Station Agent) and stars Matt Damon, Abigail Breslin, Camille Cottin and Deanna Dunagan. The movie revolves around a father who travels from Oklahoma to Marseille, France to help his daughter who has been arrested for murder. McCarthy also co-wrote the screenplay with Thomas Bidegain (A Prophet, Rust and Bone) and Noé Debré (Racer and the Jailbird). He is also producing the Participant Media and Anonymous Content production with Jonathan King (When They See Us, On the Basis of Sex) and Liza Chasin (Tales of the City). Stillwater is set to be released this coming awards season by Focus Features.
