Abel Korzeniowski has been hired to score the upcoming Hulu horror fantasy drama Locke & Key. The show is developed by Joe Hill & Carlton Cuse (Lost, Bates Motel, The Strain) based on the IDW comic by Hill & Gabriel Rodriguez and stars Frances O’Connor, Nate Corddry, Jack Mulhern, Danny Glover, Owen Teague, Jackson Robert Scott and Megan Charpentier. The series follows three siblings who, after the gruesome murder of their father, move to their ancestral home in Maine with their mother, only to find the house has magical keys that give them a vast array of powers and abilities. Andy Muschietti (It, Mama) is directing the pilot and also serves as an executive producer. Hulu has ordered a pilot for Locke & Key last summer. No announcement has been made yet whether the project will be picked up to series.

Korzeniowski (Penny Dreadful, A Single Man, Nocturnal Animals, Romeo & Juliet, W.E.) also has the horror thriller The Nun (to be released in theaters this summer) and the historical action adventure Emperor coming up.
