Netflix Music will release the official soundtrack album for the streamer’s original animated feature Wendell & Wild. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award nominee Bruno Coulais (Coraline, Wolfwalkers, The Chorus, The Crimson Rivers, Winged Migration, The Secret of Kells). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, October 28 and will be available to stream/download here. Wendell & Wild is co-written and directed by Henry Selick and features the voices of Keegan-Michael Key, Jordan Peele, Angela Bassett, Lyric Ross, Ving Rhames, Gabrielle Dennis, Tamara Smart, Gary Gatewood, Natalie Martinez, James Hong, Igal Naor, Tantoo Cardinal, David Harewood and Maxine Peake. The movie tells the story of two scheming demons who strike a deal with a punk rock-loving teen so they can leave the Underworld and live out their dreams in the Land of the Living.

Weekly Film Music Roundup (October 21, 2022)
Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the superhero movie Black Adam directed by Jaume Collet-Serra and starring Dwayne Johnson, Aldis Hodge, Noah Centineo, Quintessa Swindell, Marwan Kenzari and Pierce Brosnan. The film’s original music is composed by Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible – Fallout, Black Widow, Top Gun: Maverick, The LEGO Batman Movie, His Dark Materials). Also opening nationwide is the romantic comedy Ticket to Paradise co-written and directed by Ol Parker and starring George Clooney, Julia Roberts, Kaitlyn Dever, Lucas Bravo, Maxime Bouttier and Billie Lourd. Lorne Balfe has composed the film’s original music. Back Lot Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score last month when the movie was released overseas. Bruno Coulais Scoring Henry Selick’s ‘Wendell & Wild’
Composer Bruno Coulais (The Chorus, The Crimson Rivers, Winged Migration) is reteaming with director Henry Selick on the upcoming animated feature Wendell & Wild. The film follows two scheming demon brothers – Wendell (voiced by Jordan Peele) and Wild (voiced by Keegan-Michael Key) – who are forced to face-off against their arch-enemy in order to earn their way out of hell. Selick (The Nightmare Before Christmas, James and the Giant Peach) also co-wrote the screenplay with Peele (Get Out, Us) and Clay McLeod Chapman based on an original story by Selick. They are also producing the Monkeypaw production with Ellen Goldsmith-Vein (The Maze Runner, Stargirl, Life of Crime) for The Gotham Group.
