Opening in select theaters while also premiering on Disney+ today is the animated feature Turning Red directed by Domee Shi and starring Rosalie Chiang and Sandra Oh. The film’s original score is composed by Ludwig Göransson (Black Panther, The Mandalorian, Creed, Tenet, Community, Venom). Billie Eilish and Finneas O’Connell have contributed three original songs for the fictional boy band 4*Town in the movie. Walt Disney Records has released a soundtrack album featuring both score and songs today. Also opening in select theaters while also premiering on Netflix this weekend is the family sci-fi adventure The Adam Project directed by Shawn Levy and starring Ryan Reynolds,Walker Scobell, Mark Ruffalo, Jennifer Garner, Catherine Keener, Walker Scobell and Alex Mallari Jr. Rob Simonsen (Ghostbusters: Afterlife, Foxcatcher, The Way Back, Nerve, (500) Days of Summer, The Spectacular Now, The Age of Adeline) has composed the film’s original music.
