Moonflower Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score last July following the movie’s premiere at the 2024 Tribeca Film Festival. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The Damned is directed by Thordur Palsson and stars Odessa Young and Joe Cole. The 19th Century-set movie follows a young widow who faces an impossible choice when a ship sinks off the coast of her isolated fishing village and must decide whether to rescue the shipwrecked sailors or let them perish to ensure her own survival.

Stephen McKeon (Evil Dead Rise, The Hole in the Ground, Pilgrimage, Norm of the North, Queen & Country) has recently scored the upcoming period horror drama The Damned. The film is directed by Thordur Palsson (The Valhalla Murders) and stars Odessa Young and Joe Cole. The movie is set in the 19th century and follows a young widow who faces an impossible choice when a ship sinks off the coast of her isolated fishing village and must decide whether to rescue the shipwrecked sailors or let them perish to ensure their own survival.

Two new movies are opening nationwide this week:
Already in theaters since Wednesday is the action thriller The November Man directed by Roger Donaldson and starring Pierce Brosnan, Luke Bracey, Olga Kurylenko, Eliza Taylor, Caterina Scorsone, Bill Smitrovich and Will Patton. Marco Beltrami (World War Z, Scream, The Wolverine, 3:10 to Yuma) has composed the film’s original music. Varese Sarabande has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s music digitally earlier this week. A CD version will be released on September 9. Opening nationwide today is the horror thriller As Above, So Below directed by John Erick Dowdle and starring Perdita Weeks, Ben Feldman, Edwin Hodge, Francois Civil, Marion Lambert, Ali Marhyar, Cosme Castro and Hamidreza Javdan. The film’s original music is composed by Keefus Ciancia (Nashville, Saving Grace, Diana, The Motel Life). No word on a soundtrack release. ‘The Damned’ Soundtrack Details
Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the horror thriller The Damned. The album features the film’s original music composed by Frederik Wiedmann (Green Lantern: The Animated Series, Son of Batman, Hostel: Part III). The soundtrack will be released digitally on August 19, 2014 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Check out audio clips after the jump. The Damned is directed by Victor Garcia and stars Peter Facinelli, Sophia Myles, Nathalia Ramos and Sebastian Martinez. The movie, which is also known as Gallow Hill, follows a widower who takes his children on a trip to their mother’s Colombian hometown, where they involved in an accidents, take refuge in a secluded inn and free a girl locked in a basement.
