Netflix Music will release a new soundtrack album for the streamer’s original animated series Dr. Seuss’s Red Fish, Blue Fish. The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by Ben Bromfield (Ginny & Georgia, The Boss Baby: Back in Business, Oddballs). Also included is the Atomic Cartoons production’s main title theme by Earl St. Clair. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, January 1 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The label has previously released an album featuting the original songs from the preschool comedy written by Rob Cantor and performed by PJ Morton this past September. Dr. Seuss’s Red Fish, Blue Fish is developed by Dustin Ferrer & Steven Conner and features the voices of Brian Drummond and Andrea Libman, as well as Naomi Tan as the narrator.

The details of the full soundtrack album for fifth season of the Netflix original series Stranger Things have been revealed. The album features the ten songs of the Volume 1 & Volume 2 release, as well as four additional tracks from the series finale: David Bowie’s Heroes, Iron Maiden’s The Trooper, Pixies’ Here Comes Your Man and Cowboy Junkies’ Sweet Jane. Premiering in the U.S. on Tuesday, December 30, is the British limited series Wolf written and adapted by Megan Gallagher based on Mo Hayder’s Jack Caffery novels and starring Ukweli Roach, Sacha Dhawan, Iwan Rheon, Sian Reese-Williams, Juliet Stevenson and Owen Teale. The show’s original music is composed by Chris Roe (The Salt Path, Trigger Point, Blue Jean, Bad Apples, After Love, Mission Control: The Unsung Heroes of Apollo, Lancaster). Dubois Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score back in 2023 when the 6-parter premiered in the UK on BBC One. Premiering on Thursday, January 1, is the British Netflix limited series Run Away based on Harlan Coben’s novel of the same title and starring James Nesbitt, Ruth Jones, Alfred Enoch, Ingrid Oliver, Tracy Ann Oberman, Amy Gledhill, Mark Bazeley, Annette Badland, Maeve Courtier-Lilley and Jon Pointing. Luke Richards (Stay Close, I Fought the Law, Six Four, Fool Me Once) & David Buckley (The Sandman, The Good Wife, Nobody, Papillon, Greenland, Angel Has Fallen, The Forbidden Kingdom) have composed the show’s original music. A soundtrack album featuring the composers’ score will be announced soon. The 6-part thriller, which follows a desperate father searching for his runaway daughter who gets caught up in a murder case, will be available to stream exclusively on Netflix.
Högni Egilsson Scoring Baltasar Kormákur’s ‘Apex’
Högni Egilsson (Under the Tree, Against the Current) has been tapped to score the upcoming Netflix original film Apex. The movie is directed by Baltasar Kormákur (2 Guns, Everest) and stars Charlize Theron, Taron Egerton and Eric Bana. The thriller follows a woman testing her limits in the Australian wilderness who is suddenly ensnared in a deadly game with a ruthless predator. Jeremy Robbins wrote the screenplay.

Music Super Circus will release a new soundtrack album for the Swedish Netflix original series Ronja the Robber’s Daughter (Ronja Rövardotter). The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second part composed by Johan Söderqvist (Let the Right One In, Battlefield V, Anatomy of a Scandal, Madame Web, Kon-Tiki, In a Better World). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, December 24 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The label has previously released an album featuring the composer’s score from Part 1 in early 2024. Ronja the Robber’s Daughter is developed by Hans Rosenfeldt based on Astrid Lindgren’s fantasy tale of the same title and stars Kerstin Linden, Jack Bergenholtz-Henriksson, Pernilla August, Christopher Wagelin, Sverrir Gudnason, Maria Nohra, Krista Kosonen, Vera Vitali and Johan Ulveson.
