Marvel Entertainment has published the first full track from the soundtrack for the studio’s Doctor Strange. The end credits track, entitled The Master of the Mystic End Credits composed by Michael Giacchino (Up, Star Trek, Lost, The Incredibles, Jurassic World) can be checked out after the jump. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, October 21 and physically next month. Visit Amazon to pre-order the CD and check back on this page later this week for the full album details. Hollywood Records to Release ‘Doctor Strange’ Soundtrack
Hollywood Records will release the official soundtrack album for Marvel Studios’ Doctor Strange. Academy Award winner Michael Giacchino (Up, Jurassic World, Lost, Star Trek, Inside Out, The Incredibles, Ratatouille) is composing the film’s original music. The soundtrack will be released physically on November 18, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A digital version is expected to be released earlier in November. Michael Giacchino Composing New Marvel Studios Fanfare
It was announced at Comic-Con today that Michael Giacchino composed a fanfare for the new logo of Marvel Studios, which will be playing in front of all future Marvel feature releases. The music was recorded a couple of weeks ago at Abbey Road Studios in London. Check out the fanfare after the jump. Giacchino is currently scoring his first movie for Marvel, Doctor Strange directed by Scott Derrickson and starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Rachel McAdams., which will be released on November 4, 2016. Brian Tyler has previously composed a fanfare for Marvel, which was featured in front of several Marvel productions over the last couple of years.
Alan Silvestri to Score Marvel’s ‘Avengers: Infinity War’
Alan Silvestri is set to score Marvel’s upcoming sequels Avengers: Infinity War – Part 1 and Part 2. The films will be directed by Anthony & Joe Russo and are expected to star Robert Downey, Jr. as Tony Stark/Iron Man, Chris Evans as Steve Rogers/Captain America, Chris Hemsworth as Thor Odinson, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/Hulk, Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton/Hawkeye, Josh Brolin as Thanos, Tom Hiddleston as Loki Laufeyson and Elizabeth Olsen. Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely are writing the screenplay and Kevin Feige is producing the project. Silvestri previously scored the 2012 original Avengers film, as well as the first Captain America film.

Michael Giacchino announced on Twitter that he will be scoring Marvel’s Doctor Strange. The film is directed by Scott Derrickson (The Exorcism of Emily Rose, Sinister) and stars Benedict Cumberbatch in the title role, alongside Chiwetel Ejiofor, Rachel McAdams, Michael Stuhlbarg, Mads Mikkelsen and Tilda Swinton. The movie based on the Marvel Comics character follows surgeon Stephen Strange who encounters the Ancient One after a career-ending car accident. Jon Spaihts (Prometheus, The Darkest Hour and C. Robert Cargill (Sinister) have written the screenplay. Kevin Feige (The Avengers, Iron Man, Guardians of the Galaxy) is producing the project for Marvel Studios.
Christophe Beck’s ‘Ant-Man’ Score Preview
Marvel and composer Christophe Beck have released the composer’s main title theme for the studios’ latest superhero movie Ant-Man. Check out the full track after the jump. Sean Callery to Score Marvel’s ‘Jessica Jones’
Sean Callery revealed at the Comic-Con composer panel Behind the Music: Crime, Death and Resurrection that he is scoring Netflix’s upcoming original series Marvel’s Jessica Jones. The show is developed and executive produced by Melissa Rosenberg and stars Krysten Ritter in the title role, alongside Mike Colter, David Tennant, Rachael Taylor, Carrie-Anne Moss, Eka Darville, Erin Moriarty and Wil Traval. The series based on the Marvel Comics character follows Jones following a brief superhero career as she is rebuilding her personal life and career as a detective who gets pulled into cases involving people with extraordinary abilities in New York City.
Soundtrack for Netflix’s ‘Daredevil’ Released
Marvel and ABC Studios have a soundtrack album for the Netflix original series Daredevil. The album features selections from the show’s original music composed by John Paesano (The Maze Runner, DreamWorks Dragons, When the Game Stands Tall), including his main title theme. The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio clips. Daredevil based on the Marvel Comics character stars Charlie Cox, Vincent D’Onofrio, Elden Henson, Deborah Ann Woll, Rosario Dawson and Scott Glenn. The first season of the show executive produced by Drew Goddard and Steven S. DeKnight is now available to stream on Netflix.
Danny Elfman to Compose Additional Music for ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’
The latest poster for Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Age of Ultron reveals that Danny Elfman is composing additional music for the film written and directed by Joss Whedon and starring Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johannson, Jeremy Renner, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Cobie Smulders, James Spader, Hayley Atwell, Stellan Skarsgard and Samuel L. Jackson. As previously reported, Brian Tyler is the principal composer on the project. The movie follows Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye as they battle to save the planet from destruction at the hands of the villainous Ultron. Kevin Feige is producing the project.

The movie follows master thief Scott Lang who must embrace his inner-hero and help his mentor, Dr. Hank Pym protect the secret behind his spectacular Ant-Man suit from a new generation of towering threats. Adam McKay (Anchorman, Talladega Nights, The Other Guys) has written the screenplay with Rudd based on on a story by Edgar Wright (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz) and Joe Cornish (Attack the Block). Kevin Feige (The Avengers, Iron Man, Captain America, Guardians of the Galaxy) is producing the project.
