Tom Hodge (The Mauritanian, Je Suis Karl, Pump, Rise of the Nazis) has composed the original score for the new ITV drama The Ipcress File. The show is written by John Hodge (Trainspotting, The Beach) based on the Len Deighton novel of the same title and stars Joe Cole, Lucy Boynton, Tom Hollander and Ashley Thomas. The 6-part spy thriller is set in the 1960s amid the highly charged atmosphere of the Cold War and follows a British army sergeant on the make in Berlin whose varied interests bring him into contact with everything and everyone – until the law catches up with him and it all comes crashing to a halt.

Samuel Sim (The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, The Spanish Princess, Domina, The Long Call, The Halcyon, Home Fires) has composed the original score for the new ITV series Anne. The show is written by Kevin Sampson and stars Maxine Peake, Stephen Walters, Steve Williams, Lily Shepherd, Bobby Schofield and Clare Calbraith. The 4-part drama directed by Bruce Goodison tells the true story of Anne Williams who dedicated her life to campaigning for justice following the death of her son who was tragically killed at the FA Cup semi-final in 1989 between Liverpool and Nottingham Forest.

Silva Screen Records has announced a soundtrack album for the ITV crime thriller The Tower. The album features the show’s original music composed by Nainita Desai (For Sama, The Reason I Jump, American Murder: The Family Next Door, Sophie: A Murder in West Cork, Enslaved, Enemy Within, Telling Lies). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, November 19 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The show is written and adapted by Kelly Jones inspired by the best-selling novel of the same title by Ann Cleeves (Vera, Shetland) and stars Ben Aldridge, Juliet Stevenson, Martin Shaw, Anita Dobson, Neil Morrissey, Dylan Edwards, Pearl Mackie, Sarah Gordy, Amit Shah and Alan Williams. The 4-part crime drama revolves around Detective Inspector Matthew Venn, who has returned to live in a small community in North Devon with his husband, a place he walked away from 20 years ago, after being rejected by his family.

The show is written by Sophie Petzal (Blood) and stars Anna Maxwell Martin, Rachael Stirling, Rhashan Stone, Ken Nwosu, Peter McDonald, Jonas Armstrong and Jodie McNee. The 4-part thriller follows the lives of two sisters whose lives are torn apart when one of the sisters’ child goes missing.
