Gaumont will release a soundtrack album for the French crime thriller The Connection (La French). The album features the film’s original score composed by Guillaume Roussel (3 Days to Kill, Outcast). Also included are the songs from the movie by artists including The Velvet Underground, Sheila, Lykke Li, Blondie, Venus Gang, Al Wilson, Robert Moore, Kim Wilde and Townes Van Zandt. The soundtrack will be released digitally on November 25, 2014. The Connection is directed by Cédric Jimenez and stars Jean Dujardin, Gilles Lellouche, Céline Sallette and Benoît Magimel. The movie tells the story of French police magistrate Pierre Michel, who waged an obsessive six-year battle to bring down Marseilles’ infamous “French Connection” drug ring.

‘Grace of Monaco’ Soundtrack Details
Hamburger Records will release a soundtrack album for the biographical drama Grace of Monaco. The album features the film’s original music composed by Christopher Gunning who previously collaborated with the movie’s director Olivier Dahan on La Vie en Rose. Also included are classical pieces by Erik Satie, Jean Sibelius and more. Guillaume Roussel (3 Days to Kill) has composed additional music for the film. The soundtrack will be releasd digitally on May 12, 2014 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Grace of Monaco stars Nicole Kidman as Grace Kelly and Tim Roth as her husband, Prince Rainier III. Frank Langella, Paz Vega, Parker Posey, Derek Jacobi and Milo Ventimiglia are co-starring in the movie, which follows the actress as she is being called upon to save Monaco from a crisis over its standing as a tax haven after it was given six months to reform the nation’s tax laws.
Guillaume Roussel to Score ‘Outcast’
Guillaume Roussel has been tapped to score the upcoming martial arts action movie Outcast. The film marks the directorial debut of stunt coordinator and fight choreographer Nick Powell and stars Nicolas Cage, Hayden Christensen and Liu Yifei. The movie is set in the 12th Century and follows two European Crusaders who chose to wander off toward western China, where they become entangled in romance and antagonism with local royalty. James Dormer (Strike Back) has written the screenplay. Jeremy Bolt (Resident Evil, Death Race) is producing the project with Alan Zhang, Karine Martin (The Moth Diaries), Leonard Glowinski, Ying Ye, Gary Hamilton (Bait), Chris Milburn (Getaway, An American Haunting), George Mizen and Tove Christensen (Shattered Glass).
‘3 Days to Kill’ Soundtrack Details
EuropaCorp will release a soundtrack album for the action thriller 3 Days to Kill. The album features the film’s original score composed by Guillaume Roussel (Crossing Lines, It Boy). Also included are the songs featured in the movie, including Sweet Disposition by The Temper Trap, Your Wish by Talisco, Kill Me by Make The Girl Dance, Love It or Leave It by Asaf Avidan, Pursuit by Gestaffelstein and two tracks by The Toxic Avenger. The soundtrack will be released digitally on March 19, 2014 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Two new movies are opening nationwide this weekend:
Opening in most theaters is the action thriller 3 Days to Kill directed by McG and starring Kevin Costner, Hailee Steinfeld, Amber Heard and Connie Nielsen. Guillaume Roussel (Crossing Lines) has composed the film’s original music. No soundtrack album has been announced yet. 3 Days to Kill follows a dangerous international spy who is determined to give up his high-stakes life to finally build a closer relationship with his estranged wife and daughter, whom he’s previously kept at arm’s length to keep out of danger. Also opening wide is the historical action epic Pompeii directed by Paul W.S. Clinton Shorter (District 9, 2 Guns, Contraband) has composed the film’s original score. Milan Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s music digitally earlier this week. Guillaume Roussel Scoring McG’s ‘Three Days to Kill’
Guillaume Roussel has recently composed the music for the upcoming action thriller Three Days to Kill. The film is directed by McG and stars Kevin Costner, Amber Heard, Hailee Steinfeld and Connie Nielsen. The movie follows a Secret Service Agent who discovers he’s dying and is being offered access to an experimental drug that could save his life in exchange for one last assignment. Luc Besson (Leon: The Professional, The Fifth Element) has co-written the screenplay with Adi Hasak (From Paris With Love). Besson is also producing the project with Virginie Besson-Silla (The Family, The Lady) for EuropaCorp, alongside Hasak and Relativity CEO Ryan Kavanaugh (The Fighter, Limitless). McG has previously collaborated with such composers as Danny Elfman (Terminator Salvation), Christophe Beck (We Are Marshall, This Means War) and Edward Shearmur (Charlie’s Angels).

Premiering tonight is the new Lifetime drama Devious Maids created by Marc Cherry (Desperate Housewives) and starring Ana Ortiz, Dania Ramirez, Roselyn Sanchez, Edy Ganem, Judy Reyes, Brett Cullen, Brianna Brown, Drew Van Acker and Susan Lucci. The show’s score is composed by Edward Shearmur (The Count of Monte Cristo, Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow). The drama follows five maids with ambition and dreams of their own while working for the rich and famous in Beverly Hills. Devious Maids will air every Sunday night on Lifetime.
