The film starring Isabelle Fuhrman, Jack Huston & Don Johnson revolves around an employee of a remote storage facility who discovers an unconscious man in a locked unit and fight to survive the night against a ruthless gang. Shogun Music has released a digital version of the soundtrack album for the 2006 drama The Wind That Shakes the Barley directed by Ken Loach and starring Cillian Murphy, Liam Cunningham, Pádraic Delaney and Orla Fitzgerald. The album features the film’s original score composed and conducted by Academy Award nominee George Fenton (Dangerous Liaisons, Groundhog Day, Anna and the King, Hitch, The Blue Planet, Gandhi, Ever After). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music platforms. Kronos Records has previously released a limited edition CD version back in 2012.
‘The Angels’ Share’ Digital Soundtrack Album Released
Shogun Music has released a digital version of the soundtrack for the 2012 comedy drama The Angels’ Share directed by Ken Loach, written by Paul Laverty and starring Paul Brannigan, John Henshaw, Gary Maitland and William Ruane. The album features the film’s original score composed by Academy Award nominee George Fenton (Dangerous Liaisons, Groundhog Day, Anna and the King, Hitch, Gandhi, The Blue Planet, Ever After). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms, including Amazon. Quartet Records has previously released a CD version, which also includes two songs by The Proclaimers and Deadmau5, when the movie opened in the U.S. in early 2013.

MovieScore Media will release the official soundtrack album for British comedy drama The Duke. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award nominee George Fenton (Dangerous Liaisons, Groundhog Day, Hitch, Anna and the King, The Blue Planet, Ever After). The soundtrack will be released digitally on February 25 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The Duke is directed by Roger Michell and stars Jim Broadbent, Helen Mirren, Fionn Whitehead, Matthew Goode and Anna Maxwell Martin. The movie follows a 60 year-old London cab driver who in 1961 stole Goya’s portrait of the Duke of Wellington from the National Gallery, the only robbery in the museum’s history.

Composer George Fenton (Dangerous Liaisons, Groundhog Day, The Blue Planet, Anna and the King, Hitch) is reuniting with director Richard Eyre (Notes on a Scandal, Iris) on the upcoming British comedy drama Allelujah. The film is based on the stage play of the same name by Alan Bennett and stars Jennifer Saunders, Judi Dench, Derek Jacobi, Bally Gill, Russell Tovey and David Bradley. The movie is set on a geriatric ward in Yorkshire that is on the verge of closure and and follows the hospital’s attempts to fight back by inviting a news crew to film their preparations for a concert in honor of the place’s most distinguished nurse.
George Fenton Scoring Roger Michell’s ‘Elizabeth’ Documentary
George Fenton (Dangerous Liaisons, Groundhog Day, Anna and the King, Ever After, The Blue Planet) has composed the original music for the upcoming documentary Elizabeth. The movie marks the final film of late director Roger Michell (Notting Hill, Changing Lanes) who passed away last week and centers on the longest-lived and longest-reigning British monarch. The Free Range Films production is produced by Michell and Kevin Loader (The Death of Stalin, The Personal History of David Copperfield). Fenton has previously scored Michell’s last feature The Duke, which premiered at last year’s Venice Film Festival and has been picked up for domestic distribution by Sony Pictures Classics for a release in 2022.
