Nitin Sawhney (The Namesake, Breathe, Lila Says) has been tapped to score the upcoming Channel 4 series Jerusalem. The show is written and created by Bash Doran (Outlaw King, The Looming Tower) and stars Michael Stuhlbarg, Matt Lauria, Brandon P. Bell, Emma Appleton, Luke Treadaway, Keeley Hawes and Stephen Campbell Moore. The spy thriller revolves around Feef Symonds, a bold 20-something woman who joins the Civil Service in 1945, just as the Labour party sweeps to victory, defeating Winston Churchill in an unexpected landslide.

Soundtrack Album for ‘Philip K. Dick’s Electric Dreams’ Released
Madison Gate Records has released a soundtrack album for the sci-fi anthology series Philip K. Dick’s Electric Dreams. The album features the music from the series, including the main title theme composed by Harry Gregson-Williams (The Martian, The Chronicles of Narnia), as well as the composer’s score for the episodes The Commuter (for which he received an Emmy Award nomination) and The Father Thing. Also included is the music for three episodes composed by Bear McCreary (The Walking Dead, 10 Cloverfield Lane), two episodes by Cristobal Tapia de Veer (Utopia), one episode by Ólafur Arnalds (Broadchurch), as well as two episodes by Mark Isham (Crash, A River Runs Through It), one of which he co-scored with BT (The Fast & the Furious, Monster). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples.
‘Humans’ Seasons 2 & 3 Soundtrack Album Announced
Silva Screen Records will release a new soundtrack album for the sci-fi series Humans. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second and third season composed by Sarah Warne (Prey). The soundtrack is set to be released digitally on June 22, 2018 and physically on July 6. Visit Amazon to pre-order the album. The label has previously released a soundtrack featuring Cristobal Tapia de Veer’s score from the first season of the series. Humans is created by Jonathan Brackley & Sam Vincent and stars Emily Berrington, Gemma Chan, Colin Morgan, Ivanno Jeremiah, Tom Goodman-Hill and Katherine Parkinson.
‘Flowers’ Season 2 Soundtrack Released
Sister Pictures and Kudos Film & Television have released a new soundtrack album for the Channel 4 series Flowers. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second season composed by Arthur Sharpe. The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. The production companies have previously released an album featuring Sharpe’s music from the first season. Flowers is created by Will Sharpe and stars Olivia Colman, Julian Barratt, Daniel Rigby and Sophia Di Martino. The show revolves around a renowned children’s book author who is battling severe depression as he tries to sort out his not-quite-complete divorce from his delusional, music teacher wife.
Rael Jones to Score Channel 4’s ‘Hang Ups’
Rael Jones has been tapped to score the upcoming Channel 4 series Hang Ups. The show is created by Stephen Mangan & Robert Delamere based on Showtime’s Web Therapy and stars Mangan himself, David Tennant, Charles Dance, Richard E. Grant, Jessica Hynes, Katherine Parkinson, Karl Theobald, Arsher Ali, Celia Imrie and Paul Ritter. The comedy centers on a therapist with a chequered professional career who finds himself at a crossroads in life.
New Episodes of ‘Philip K. Dick’s Electric Dreams’ to Feature Music by Mark Isham, BT & Bear McCreary
Mark Isham (Crash, Once Upon a Time, A River Runs Through It) and BT (The Fast and the Furious, Monster) have recently scored two episodes of the new Amazon original series Philip K. Dick’s Electric Dreams. The composers collaborated on the music for the episodes Autofac starring Juno Temple, Janelle Monae & David Lyons, and Isham also scored the episode Safe and Sound. In addition, Bear McCreary (10 Cloverfield Lane, Happy Death Day, The Walking Dead) has scored three episodes including the Dee Rees-helmed Kill All Others, as well as Real Life and Impossible Planet, both of which already aired in the UK on Channel 4.
Clark Scoring Channel 4’s & Hulu’s ‘Kiri’
Clark (aka Chris Clark) has composed the music for the new Channel 4 mini-series Kiri. The show is created by Jack Thorne (National Treasure, A Long Way Down, Glue) and stars Sarah Lancashire, Lia Williams, Steven Mackintosh, Lucian Msamati and Felicia Mukasa. The 4-part drama tells the story of the abduction and death of a young black girl, named Kiri, who is soon-to-be-adopted by her white foster family. Euros Lyn (Doctor Who, Torchwood) directed all episodes.

Harry Gregson-Williams (The Chronicles of Narnia, Shrek, Kingdom of Heaven, The Martian) has composed the main titles theme for upcoming Channel 4 & Amazon original series Philip K. Olafur Arnalds (Broadchurch, Gimme Shelter) and Cristobal Tapia de Veer (Utopia, The Girl with All the Gifts) are also scoring multiple episodes of the show, which are all based on short stories by legendary sci-fi writer Philip K. Dick.

The animated special follows the adventures of five siblings and Rufus the dog who go off in search of bears.
Channel 4’s ‘National Treasure’ to Feature Music by Cristobal Tapia de Veer
Cristobal Tapia de Veer has been tapped to compose the music for the upcoming Channel 4 mini-series National Treasure. The drama is created by Jack Thorne (A Long Way Down, The Black Panthers) and stars Robbie Coltrane, Julie Walters, Andrea Riseborough. The 4-parter one half of a much-loved comedy double act, a national treasure despite Finchley’s career being on the wane. One day his world changes forever when he is accused of raping a woman in the 1970s.. George Ormond and George Faber (Shameless, Skins, The White Queen) are executive producing the project. Marc Munden (The Devil’s Whore, The Crimson Petal and the White) who previously collaborated with the composer on Utopia is directing all four episodes.
