Steve Lynch (Obituary, Let Us Prey, Sanctuary: A Witch’s Tale, Boys from Hell) has released a new soundtrack album for the BBC series Wreck. The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by and is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Kormac Scoring BBC’s ‘This Town’
Kormac (The Diplomat, Professionals, Tarrac, Red Election) has composed the original score for the new BBC drama This Town. The show is created by Steven Knight (Peaky Blinders, Eastern Promises) and stars Michelle Dockery, Nicholas Pinnock, Levi Brown, David Dawson, Ben Rose, Jordan Bolger and Eve Austin. The 6-part series directed by Paul Whittington tells the story of an extended family and a group of young people who are drawn into an explosive music scene in the Midlands in the early 1980s.
Hans Zimmer & James Everingham (feat. Shashwat Sachdev) to Compose Title Theme & Score for BBC’s ‘Virdee’
BBC announced today that Hans Zimmer (The Lion King, Inception, Gladiator, The Dark Knight, Interstellar) & James Everingham (Apollo: Missions to the Moon, The Real Right Stuff) feat. Shashwat Sachdev (Uri: The Surgical Strike, Selection Day) will compose the title theme and original score for the upcoming BBC series Virdee for Bleeding Fingers Music. Trainees from Screen Academy Bradford will also be joining Bleeding Fingers to get a hands-on experience of composing for screen and to assist with the composing of the series score. The show is created by AA Dhand based on his own novels and stars Staz Nair, Aysha Kala, Nina Singh, Kulvinder Ghir, Vikash Bhai and Sudha Bhuchar. The 6-part crime thriller directed by Mark Tonderai (Spell, House at the End of the Street) follows a cop disowned by his Sikh family for marrying a Muslim who must hunt down a serial killer targeting the Asian community.
‘Vigil’ Season 2 Soundtrack Album Released
Addict London has released a new soundtrack album for the BBC drama Vigil. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second season composed by Afterhere (aka Berenice Scott & Glenn Gregory) (Liar, The Suspect, Under the Wire). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also check out the composers’ end titles track below. The label has previously released a soundtrack featuring Scott’s & Gregory’s score from Season 1 back in 2021. Vigil is created by Tom Edge and stars Suranne Jones, Rose Leslie, Gary Lewis, Dougray Scott, Romola Garai, Anders Hayward, Chris Jenks, Shannon Hayes and Orla Russell.
Cian Ciarán Scoring BBC’s ‘The Way’
Cian Ciarán (of the Welsh rock band Super Furry Animals) is the composer of the new BBC drama The Way. The show is created by actor Michael Sheen, James Graham (Quiz, Sherwood), Adam Curtis (The Power of Nightmares, The Living Dead), developed by Bethan Jones (Sherlock, Les Miserables) and stars Steffan Rhodri, Mali Harries, Sophie Melville, Callum Scott Howell, Sheen himself, Maja Laskowska, Luke Evans, Tom Cullen, Mark Lewis Jones, Danny Sapani, Paul Rhys, Aneurin Barnard, Erin Richards, Catherine Ayers, Patrick Baladi, Jonathan Nefydd, Georgia Tennant, Matthew Aubrey and Teilo James Le Masurier. The 3-part series revolves around a family caught up in a civil uprising which begins in their small industrial town who are forced to escape the country they’ve always called home and the certainties of their old lives.

Dubois Records will release a soundtrack album for the BBC drama Boat Story. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Emmy Award nominee Dominik Scherrer (The Missing, The Tourist, The Widow, Primeval, Ripper Street, Baptiste, Requiem, No Escape, The Serpent, The Confessions of Frannie Langton). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, January 5 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Boat Story is created by Harry & Jack Williams and stars Daisy Haggard, Paterson Joseph, Craig Fairbrass, Jonas Armstrong, Ethan Lawrence, Michele Austin, Tcheky Karyo and Joanna Scanlan. The 6-part series revolves around two strangers who discover a huge amount of cocaine on a shipwrecked boat and become the targets of a vengeful mob boss, his hit man and the police.
Lindsay Wright & Tawiah Scoring BBC’s ‘Domino Day’
Lindsay Wright (Archie, The Walk-In, The Mystery of D.B. Cooper) & Tawiah (Without Sin, The Lovers, Black Ops) have teamed up to score the upcoming BBC drama Domino Day. The show is created by Lauren Sequeira and stars Siena Kelly, Babirye Bukilwa, Alisha Bailey, Poppy Lee Friar, Molly Harris, Sam Howard Sneyd, Lucy Cohu, Percelle Ascott, Christopher Jeffers, Jonah Rzeskiewicz and Maimuna Memon. The 6-part fantasy series centers on a young witch with extraordinary powers who desperately seeking a community who can help her understand who she is, when a dangerous figure from her past comes back to haunt her.
‘Peaky Blinders’ Season 5 & 6 Score Albums to Be Released
Domino Recording Company will release two new soundtrack albums for the British crime drama series Peaky Blinders. The albums feature selections of the original score from the fifth and sixth season of the show composed by singer/songwriter Anna Calvi. A 2-CD and double vinyl edition will be coming out on the same day and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. ‘Men Up’ Soundtrack Album Details
Blair Mowat (Class, Doctor Jekyll, Nolly, McDonald & Dodds, Electric Man, The Amazing Mr. Blunden) will release a soundtrack album for the BBC drama Men Up. The album features the composer’s original music from the film and will be released digitally tomorrow, December 29 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon.
