Disney announced today that Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriters Billie Eilish and FINNEAS have written three original songs for Pixar’s next animated feature Turning Red. The tracks were written for the fictional boy band 4*Town in the movie. A first song (Nobody Like U) is featured in the film’s latest trailer, which just premiered today and can be checked out after the jump. As previously reported, Ludwig Göransson (Black Panther, The Mandalorian, Tenet) has composed the original score for the movie, which is directed by Domee Shee and stars Rosalie Chiang, Sandra Oh, Orion Lee, Wai Ching Ho, Ava Morse, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Hyein Park, Tristan Allerick Chen, Addie Chandler, Jordan Fisher, Grayson Villanueva, Josh Levi, Topher Ngo and Finneas O’Connell. La-La Land Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1946 classic It’s a Wonderful Life directed by Frank Capra and starring James Stewart, Donna Reed and Lionel Barrymore. The album features the newly remastered original original score from the Paramount Pictures production composed and conducted by Academy Award winner Dimitri Tiomkin (High Noon, Giant, The Alamo, Mr. Smith Goes to Washington, The Guns of Navarone), including the film version of the Main Title and music from the film’s trailer. The drama is based on a true story and centers on the relationship between a state trooper that dreams of joining the K-9 search and rescue team and a shelter dog who dreams of having a home, but is running out of hope. Hollywood Records will release a soundtrack album for Marvel’s Hulu animated series Hit-Monkey. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s first season composed by Daniel Rojas (Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts, Marvel’s M.O.D.O.K.). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, November 17 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms, including Amazon. Hit-Monkey is created by Josh Gordon & Will Speck based on the Marvel Comics characters and features the voice talent of Fred Tatasciore, Jason Sudeikis, George Takei, Nobi Nakanishi, Ally Maki and Olivia Munn.
