Premiering today is the MGM+ original series The Winter King developed by Kate Brooke& Ed Whitmore based on Warlord Chronicles by Bernard Cornwell and starring Iain De Caestecker, Eddie Marsan, Ellie James, Nathaniel Martello-White, Stuart Campbell, Daniel Ings, Valene Kane, Jordan Alexandra and Simon Merrells. The show’s original music is composed by Rob Lane (John Adams, A Discovery of Witches, The Damned United, Merlin, Atlantis, Beowulf). Premiering on Tuesday, August 22, is the Disney+ limited series Ahsoka developed by Dave Filoni and starring Rosario Dawson, Natasha Liu Bordizzo, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Ivanna Sakhno, Ray Stevenson, Diana Lee Inosanto, Lars Mikkelsen, Eman Esfandi and David Tennant. ‘Who Killed the KLF?’ Soundtrack Released

The album features the film’s original music composed by Vincent Watts (We Are the Freaks, Janapar, Starsuckers). Who Killed the KLF? is directed by Chris Atkins and explores the rise and fall of the British electronic band KLF in the 1980s and 1990s, using previously unheard tapes, touching upon themes that perfectly capture the 21st century zeitgeist. The show is written by Joe Murtagh (Calm with Horses) and stars Ruth Wilson and Daryl McCormack. The 6-part gothic thriller follows a woman who wakes one morning to find a corpse in her house, but has no idea who the dead woman is or if she herself might be responsible for the apparent murder. Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the superhero movie Blue Beetle directed by Angel Manuel Soto and starring Xolo Maridueña, Adriana Barraza, George Lopez, Bruna Marquezine, Belissa Escobedo and Susan Sarandon. The film’s original music is composed by Bobby Krlic (Midsommar, Beef, Beau Is Afraid, The Alienist: Angel of Darkness, Snowpiercer, Triple 9, Returnal). WaterTower Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as two songs today. Also opening nationwide today is the comedy Strays directed by Josh Greenbaum and starring Will Ferrell, Jamie Foxx, Will Forte, Isla Fisher, Brett Gelman, Randall Park, Josh Gad and Sofia Vergara. Dara Taylor (Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar, The Invitation, The Tender Bar, Echo Boomers, The Noel Diary) has composed the film’s original score. ‘Dark Windows’ Soundtracks to Be Released

Way Up North Scores will release two soundtrack albums for the horror thriller Dark Windows. The albums feature the film’s original music composed by Kim Berg (The House, Christmas Blood). Dark Windows is directed by Alex Herron and stars Anna Bullard, Annie Hamilton, Rory Alexander and Joel Saemundsson. Enjoy the Ride Records has released a digital version of the score album for the 1992 fantasy comedy Stay Tuned directed by Peter Hyams and starring John Ritter, Pam Dawber, Eugene Levy and Jeffrey Jones. The album features the film’s original music composed and conducted by Academy Award nominee Bruce Broughton (Silverado, Rescuers Down Under, The Miracle on 42nd Street, Tombstone, Young Sherlock Holmes, Homeward Bound).
