Netflix Music has released a soundtrack album for British/Canadian Netflix original series Geek Girl. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Nikhil Seetharam (Children Ruin EverythingUtopia Falls). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Geek Girl is created by Holly Smale & Jessica Ruston based on Smale’s novel of the same name and stars Emily Carey, Emmanuel Imani, Liam Woodrum, James Murray, Tim Downie, Jemima Rooper, Sarah Parish and Rochelle Harrington. The comedy drama centers awkward teen who has always wanted to fit in and whose life is turned upside down when she gets scouted by a top London model agent and is thrust into the world of fashion. The track written by Tom and Bill Kaulitz and performed by Tokio Hotel is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Sony Classical has announced the premiere vinyl edition of the score album for Sam Raimi’s 2004 superhero movie Spider-Man 2 starring Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst, Alfred Molina, James Franco, Rosemary Harris and Donna Murphy. The album featuring the film’s original music composed by Danny Elfman (Batman, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Beetlejuice, Edward Scissorhands, Alice in Wonderland, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory) is being released to coincide with the sequel’s 20th anniversary and features a soft-touch jacket with UV spot-gloss webbing on the front cover, along with a 12×12 credit insert showcasing photos from the film.
