Warner Music France has released a soundtrack album for the animated feature A Magnificent Life (Marcel et Monsieur Pagnol). The album features the film’s original music written by Italian jazz pianist, singer and composer Stefano Bollani (Il pataffio). A Magnificent Life is written and directed by Sylvain Chomet and explores the life of playwright, novelist and filmmaker Marcel Pagnol (1895-1974). The movie follows Pagnol at age 60 as his memory is failing him and is deeply affected by the disappointing results of his last two plays, when Little Marcel – the young boy he used to be – appears to him. The full details of the soundtrack album for the British Prime Video limited series Harlan Coben’s Lazarus have been revealed. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Sarah Warne (The Long Shadow, Des, Time, Humans, Dark Money, Bookish. The Drowning, Hollington Drive, Steeltown Murders). Also included is Rumer’s cover version of the Michel Legrand-penned The Windmills of Your Mind, which is already out now as a digital single.
