Light in the Attic Records will release the official soundtrack album for the biographical drama Dreamin’ Wild. The album features the music from the film by singer/songwriter Donnie Emerson, including classic tracks performed by Donnie & Joe Emerson and actor Noah Jupe (who stars as young Donnie), as well as the original end credits song When a Dream Is Beautiful performed by Donnie & Nancy Sophia Emerson. Also included are selections of the movie’s original score composed by Leopold Ross (The Book of Eli, Triple 9, Dr. Death). The soundtrack will be released on August 4 and is now available for pre-order here. A vinyl edition will be coming out later this year and is available to order on Amazon. First Songs from ‘Minx’ Season 2 Released

Lionsgate Records has released the first songs from the soundtrack for the the second season of the Starz original series Minx. Available to stream/download now on all major digital music services (including Amazon) as a digital EP are Jules Larson’s cover of The Everly Brothers’ When Will I Be Loved, Sam Shelton’s rendition of Willie Nelson’s Crazy and The Mama’s and The Papa’s California Dreamin’ performed by the Women’s Chorus. Also listen to all three tracks after the jump. More music from Season 2 is expected to be released over the next couple of weeks.

Atlantic Screen Music/Filmtrax has released a soundtrack album for the action thriller Paradise City. The album features the film’s original music composed by Sam Ewing (The Walking DeadLast Seen Alive, Beautiful Disaster, Victor Crawley). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Paradise City is directed by Chuck Russell and stars John Travolta, Bruce Willis, Stephen Dorff, Blake Jenner and Praya Lundberg. Apple TV+ announced today that Philip Glass (The Hours, The Illusionist, Notes on a Scandal, CandymanKundun), in collaboration with Paul Leonard-Morgan (Limitless, Dredd, Dynasty, Boston Strangler), has composed the original score for the upcoming documentary The Pigeon Tunnel. The film is directed by Errol Morris and centers on the storied life and career of former British spy David Cornwell, better known as John le Carré, author of such spionage novels as Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, The Spy Who Came in from the Cold, The Night Manager and The Constant Gardener. The film is directed by James Hawes (Slow Horses, Snowpiercer) and stars Anthony Hopkins, Johnny Flynn, Helena Bonham-Carter, Jonathan Pryce, Romola Garai, Lena Olin and Alex Sharp. The movie tells the story of Sir Nicholas Winton, a British stockbroker who helped rescue hundreds of children from Europe on the verge of the World War II, an act of compassion that was almost forgotten for fifty years. Paramount+ announced today (as part of the Star Trek Comic-Con presentation) that Kay Hanley and Tom Polce (of the rock band Letters to Cleo) have written ten original songs for an upcoming musical episode of the streamer’s original series Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. The episode, entitled Subspace Rhapsody, will premiere as part of the show’s second season on August 9, 2023, and is also set to feature a special version of the series’ main title.
