Emma Tillinger Koskoff (Joker, The Irishman) is producing the project. Pee-wee as Himself will premiere this week at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival.

Brion’s other recent scoring projects include Gilles Lellouche’s romantic drama Beating Hearts (L’amour ouf), which was released in French theaters last fall following a premiere at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival and is currently awaiting a domestic distribution deal. Penn’s recent film scores include Cazzie David’s I Love You Forever, which premiered at last year’s SXSW Film Festival and is also awaiting a release date.
