A24 Music will release the official soundtrack album for Dicks: The Musical. The album features the original score from the musical comedy written by the film’s composers Marius de Vries (Moulin Rouge!, Coda) & Karl Saint Lucy and the original songs created by the composers and the movie’s writers/stars Aaron Jackson and Josh Sharp (who co-wrote the music for the original stage play F***ing Identical Twins, on which the film is based). The soundtrack will be released digitally on October 6 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Genie Music has released two soundtrack albums for the South Korean Netflix original series A Time Called You. A first album features the songs from the show by artists including Kim Meon Sok, Baek A, Isaac Hong & others (click here to stream/download) and a second album features selections of the score and instrumental music by Choi In Hee, Oh Hye Joo, Lee Sori, Lim Hyun Ji (click here to stream/download). String Theory Films has announced a soundtrack album for the documentary Ariel Phenomenon. The album features the film’s original music composed by Bright Eyes member Nathaniel Walcott (The Fault in Our Stars, The Stand), Henrik Åström (Child of Grace, The American Runestone), Galen Huckins of Blue Dot Sessions, as well as director Randall Nickerson. Andrew Bird (Norman, Baskets, Outside In, The Bubble) has composed the original score for the upcoming noir comedy Poolman. The film marks the directorial debut of actor Chris Pine and stars Pine himself, Annette Bening, Danny DeVito, Jennifer Jason Leigh and DeWanda Wise. The film is written and directed by Thomas Napper (Jawbone) and stars Haley Bennett, Tom Sturridge, Sam Riley, Leo Suter, Anson Boon, Ben Miles, Cecily Cleeve, Natasha O’Keeffe, Paul Rhys, Christopher Villiers, Ian Conningham, Cara Seymour and Mark Tandy. The movie is set in France during the Napoleonic Wars and tells the true story of Barbe-Nicole Ponsardin, the “Grande Dame of Champagne,” (aka Veuve Clicquot) who, at the age of 20, became Madame Clicquot after marrying the scion of a winemaking family.
