22D Music has released a soundtrack album for the French thriller The Victoria System (Le système Victoria). The album features the film’s original music composed by Florencia di Concilio (The Five Devils, Madame de Sévigné, Calamity, The Super 8 Years, Maestro(s), Dark Blood). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list. Also listen to the composer’s “epilogue” track below. The Victoria System is co-written and directed by Sylvain Desclous and stars Damien Bonnard and Jeanne Balibar. The movie is based on Eric Reinhardt’s best-selling novel of the same title and follows a man overseeing the construction of the highest tower ever built in France who meets the head of HR at a multinational company and becomes trapped in her system that is beyond his control. The thriller opened in French theaters last Wednesday. No word yet on a domestic release.
