The full details of the soundtrack album for the British Apple TV+ original series The Buccaneers have been revealed. The album features the songs from the show’s first season performed by Emily Kokal, Lucius, Sharon Van Etten, Alison Mosshart, Sedona, Bully, Danielle Ponder, Sarah Walk and Gracie Abrams. Also included are selections of the drama’s original score composed by AVAWAVES (aka Aisling Brouwer & Anna Phoebe). The soundtrack will be released digitally next Wednesday, November 8 by Interscope Records and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A first track (What We Wanna by Miya Folick) has already been released earlier this month. The show is based on Charmaine Wilkerson’s best-selling novel of the same name and stars Mia Isaac, Adrienne Warren, Chipo Chung, Lashay Anderson, Ashley Thomas, Faith Alabi and Glynn Turman. The drama revolves around a runaway bride who disappears into the surf off the coast of Jamaica in the 1960s and is feared drowned or a fugitive on the run for her husband’s murder. Silva Screen Records will release the official soundtrack album for BBC’s natural history series Planet Earth III. The album features the music from the show, including the main themes written by Hans Zimmer (The Lion King, The Dark Knight,DuneInception), Jacob Shea (Seven Worlds One PlanetBlue Planet II) and Sara Barone (Grimcutty) and the original score composed by Shea & Barone for Bleeding Fingers Music. Bastille’s Dan Smith has collaborated with the composers on the score and his vocals are featured on the project’s opening title theme. Intrada Records has announced a CD release of the deluxe edition soundtrack album for the Lucasfilm’s 2018 feature Solo: A Star Wars Story directed by Ron Howard and starring Alden Ehrenreich, Emilia Clarke, Donald Glover, Woody Harrelson, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Thandiwe Newton and Paul Bettany. The album features the film’s original score composed by John Powell (How to Train Your Dragon, Shrek, The Bourne Identity, Happy Feet, Don’t Worry Darling, X-Men: The Last Stand).
