Composer Ernst Reijseger is set to reteam with director Werner Herzog (Fitzcarraldo, Grizzly Man, Rescue Dawn) on the upcoming drama Bucking Fastard. The film is written and directed by Herzog and stars Kate Mara, Rooney Mara, Orlando Bloom and Domhnall Gleeson. The movie follows two sisters in search of an imaginary land, where true love is possible, as they start digging a tunnel through an entire mountain range. Clara Wu Tsai, Ariel Leon Isacovitch, Agnes Chu (Spiderhead), with Kieran Corrigan (In the Land of Saints and Sinners, Queen & Country), Emanuele Moretti (Assassin Club, Mafia Wars) and Andrea Bucko (On Our Way) are producing the project. Reijseger has previously collaborated with Herzog on the features Cave of Forgotten Dreams, The White Diamond, Salt and Fire, Family Romance, LLC and Nomad: In the Footsteps of Bruce Chatwin, among other projects. Bucking Fastard just finished principal photography last week. (Deadline)
