Lionsgate Records has released a soundtrack album for the documentary Dinosaur 13. The album features the film’s original music composed by Matt Morton. The soundtrack is now available to download on iTunes, where you can also listen to audio clips. Dinosaur 13 is directed by Todd Miller and follows paleontologist Peter Larson of South Dakota’s Black Hills Institute of Geological Research and his finding of a 65 million year-old tyrannosaurus rex fossil named “Sue.”. John Debney is attached to score Walt Disney Pictures’ upcoming film adaptation of The Jungle Book. The movie is directed by Jon Favreau (Iron Man, Cowboys & Aliens) and stars Neel Sethi as Mowgli. The film’s voice talent includes Bill Murray as Baloo, Scarlett Johansson as Kaa, Ben Kingsley as Bagheera, Lupita Nyong’o as Raksha and Christopher Walken as King Louie. The project is a combination of live-action and animation and tells the classic story of an orphan boy who is raised in the Jungle with the help of a pack of wolves, a bear and a black panther. Alan Silvestri to Score Robert Zemeckis’ ‘The Walk’

TriStar Pictures has announced that Alan Silvestri is reuniting with Robert Zemeckis on the upcoming drama The Walk. The movie stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Ben Kingsley, James Badge Dale, Ben Schwartz, Charlotte Le Bon, Clément Sibony and César Domboy. The film is based on Philippe Petit’s book To Reach the Clouds and tells the true story of the French high-wire artist’s attempt to cross the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in 1974. Zemeckis wrote the screenplay with Christopher Browne and is also producing the project with Steve Starkey (Forrest Gump, Contact) and Jack Rapke (Cast Away, Flight, Matchstick Men). Craig Wedren has composed the score for the upcoming comedy Search Party. The film marks the directorial debut of screenwriter/producer Scot Armstrong (Old School, Road Trip, Starsky & Hutch) and stars T.J. Miller, Adam Pally, Thomas Middleditch, Lance Reddick, Shannon Woodward, Alison Brie and Krysten Ritter. The movie centers around two roommates who go to serious lengths to save their friend who is stranded somewhere in Mexico. Armstrong has also co-written the screenplay with Mike Gagerman and Andrew Waller. Paul Brooks (Pitch Perfect, Life As We Know It, Slither) is producing the project for Gold Circle Films, alongside Neal H. Ilan Eshkeri is set to reteam with director James McTeigue (V for Vendetta, The Raven) on the upcoming thriller Survivor. The movie stars Milla Jovovich, Pierce Brosnan, Dylan McDermott, Angela Bassett and Robert Forster. The film follows a State Department employee who is newly posted to the American embassy in London, where she is given responsibility for stopping terrorists from getting into the US. Philip Shelby has written the screenplay. Irwin Winkler (Rocky, Goodfellas, Life as a House) is producing the project with Charles Winkler (Rocky Balboa, De-Lovely, Boaz Davidson (The Legend of Hercules) and Matt O’Toole (Before I Go to Sleep. The details of the two soundtrack albums for the second season of NBC’s Hannibal have been revealed. The albums feature selections from the original score of the show composed by Brian Reitzell (30 Days of Night, Boss, Stranger Than Fiction, Friday Night Lights). Both albums will be released digitally on September 2, 2014. The Season 2 – Volume 1 soundtrack is available for pre-order on Amazon and click here to pre-order the Season 2 – Volume 2 soundtrack. Milan Records will release a soundtrack album for the documentary My Life Directed by Nicolas Winding Refn. The album features the film’s original music composed by Cliff Martinez (Traffic, Spring Breakers, Solaris) who composed the score for Winding Refn’s last two features Drive and Only God Forgives. Also included is the track Disconnected by Julian Winding. No domestic release date has been announced yet, but the soundtrack is already available in a couple of international territories. My Life Directed by Nicolas Winding Refn is directed by Liv Corfixen and follows the Danish filmmaker on the set of Only God Forgives starring Ryan Gosling in Thailand.
