Sony Music will release a soundtrack album for the ITV original series Beowulf: Return to the Shieldlands. The album features selections from the show’s original music composed by Rob Lane (Merlin, Longford, The Damned United, John Adams). The soundtrack will be released on March 11, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Beowulf is created by James Dormer and stars Kieran Bew, William Hurt, Joanne Whalley, Ed Speleers and David Ajala. The film is directed by Sam Liu and features the voices of Jason O’Mara as Batman, Jerry O’Connell as Superman, Rosario Dawson as Wonder Woman, Jon Bernthal as Trigon, Taissa Farmiga as Raven, Stuart Allan as Robin/Damian Wayne, Jake T. Austin as Blue Beetle, Brandon Soo Hoo as Beast Boy, Kari Wahlgren as Starfire, Shemar Moore as Cyborg, Sean Maher as Nightwing and Christopher Gorham as Barry Allen/Flash. Bryan Q. ‘I Saw the Light’ Soundtrack Announced

Legacy Recordings has announced a soundtrack album for the biographical drama I Saw the Light. The album feature new interpretations of classic Hank Williams tracks performed for the film by Tom Hiddleston and the Saddle Spring Boys. Also included are popular recordings contemporaneous to Hank’s life and career, including tracks by Eddy Arnold, The Delmore Brothers, Jo Stafford, Jimmy Liggins, Eartha Kitt, George Morgan and Emmett Miller. The soundtrack will be released on March 25, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on iTunes. I Saw the Light is written and directed by Marc Abraham and stars Hiddleston, as well as Elizabeth Olsen, Cherry Jones, Bradley Whitford, Maddie Hasson, Wrenn Schmidt and David Krumholtz. Gabriel Yared is reuniting with director Xavier Dolan on the upcoming drama It’s Only the End of the World (Juste la fin du monde). The film is written and directed by Dolan (Mommy, I Killed My Mother) and stars Marion Cotillard, Lea Seydoux, Vincent Cassel, Nathalie Baye and Gaspard Ulliel. The movie is based on a play by Jean-Luc Lagarce of the same name and follows a terminally ill writer who returns home after a long absence to tell his family that he is dying. Dolan is also producing the project with his producing partner Nancy Grant, alongside Nathanael Karmitz (On the Road, Certified Copy) and Sylvain Corbeil (Felix and Meira). Andy Gray has been hired to score the upcoming Syfy original series Hunters. The show is developed by Natalie Chaidez (12 Monkeys, Heroes) based on Whitley Strieber’s best-selling novel Alien Hunter and stars Julian McMahon, Nathan Phillips, Britne Oldford, Lewis Fitz-Gerald, Mark Coles Smith, Gareth Davies, Shannon Berry and Laura Gordon. The drama chronicles the disappearance of the wife of a decorated Philadelphia cop which leads him to a secret government unit assembled to hunt a group of ruthless terrorists. La-La Land Records will release a new soundtrack album for the 1995 action thriller Nick of Time directed by John Badham and starring Johnny Depp, Christopher Walken and Charles S. Dutton. The album features the expanded and remastered score from the Paramount Pictures production composed and conducted by Arthur B. Rubinstein (Blue Thunder, Wargames, Scarecrow and Mrs. King), including more than 30 minutes of previously unreleased music. The CD is limited to 1500 copies. The film marks the filmmaker’s second feature directorial effort and stars Liam James, Sarah Steel, Wendi McLendon-Covey and Austin McKenzie. The movie is based on the off-Broadway play of the same title by Stephen Karam (The Seagull) and follows a misfit trio of high school students who, frustrated by the hypocrisy of their authority figures, revive their school’s long since shut-down speech and debate club. Universal Music will release a soundtrack album for the sports drama Eddie the Eagle. The album features a collections of songs inspired by the movie by artists including Marc Almond, Andy Bell, Tony Hadley, Holly Johnson, Go West, Kim Wilde, Paul Young, ABC, Nik Kershaw, Howard Jones & more.
