The full details of the soundtrack album for Guy Ritchie’s The Man from U.N.C.L.E. have been revealed. The album features the film’s original music composed by Daniel Pemberton (Steve Jobs, The Counselor, The Awakening). Also included are the songs featured in the movie by artists including Roberta Flack, Nina Simone, Peppino Gagliardi, Louis Prima & more. The soundtrack will be released on August 7, 2015 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The Man from U.N.C.L.E. is based on the 1960s television series of the same title and stars Henry Cavill, Armie Hammer, Alicia Vikander, Elizabeth Debicki, Jared Harris and Hugh Grant. Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for Bill Condon’s drama Mr. Holmes. The album features the film’s original music composed by Carter Burwell (Fargo, Twilight, True Grit, Being John Malkovich) who previously scored the director’s Gods and Monsters, Kinsey, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn and The Fifth Estate. Michael Giacchino confirmed on Twitter that he is set to compose the music for Star Trek Beyond. The film marks the composer’s third score in the series following his work on J.J. Abrams’ 2009 original film and 2013’s Star Trek Into Darkness. The third installment is directed by Justin Lin (Fast & Furious, Fast Five) and stars Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, Simon Pegg, Karl Urban, John Cho and Anton Yelchin who reprise their roles from the previous films and are joined by Idris Elba, Bryan Cranston and Sofia Boutella. Expected to top the weekend box office is the animated feature Minions directed by Pierre Coffin & Kyle Balda and featuring the voices of Sandra Bullock, Jon Hamm, Michael Keaton, Allison Janney, Steve Coogan and Geoffrey Rush. The film’s original music is composed by Heitor Pereira (Despicable Me, The Smurfs, If I Stay, Beverly Hills Chihuahua). Back Lot Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as the songs from the movie by artists including including The Turtles, The Kinks, The Who, Donovan and The Spencer Davis Group.
