war-roomReunion Records will release a score album for the faith-based drama War Room. The album features the film’s original music composed by Paul Mills (Against the SunOctober Baby). The soundtrack will be released on August 7, 2015 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The label will also release a separate soundtrack featuring the songs from the movie. War Room is directed by Alex Kendrick (Fireproof, Courageous) and stars Priscilla Shirer, Alex Kendrick, T.C. Stallings, Michael Jr., Karen Abercrombie and Alena Pitts. The movie follows a middle-class couple whose marriage has become a war zone and their daughter is collateral damage. Michael Chabon (Wonder Boys, John Carter) is writing the screenplay and Tripp Vinson (The Exorcism of Emily Rose), Chris Bender (We’re the Millers), JC Spink (The Butterfly Effect) and Beau Flynn (San Andreas) are producing the project. bilalAtli Orvarsson has been hired to score the upcoming animated feature Bilal. The film is directed by Khurram Alavi and features the voice talent of Ian McShane, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Thomas Ian Nicholas and Michael Gross. The movie is inspired by the story of the real-life African hero Bilal Ibn Rabah, who, born into slavery in the sixth century, was one of the most trusted companions of the Prophet Muhammad.
