Sony Classical will release the first original ballet score by Academy Award-nominated composer Thomas Newman (American Beauty, 1917, The Shawshank Redemption, Wall-E, Finding Nemo, Road to Perdition, Skyfall, Bridge of Spies). The album featuring his music for Joffrey Ballet’s adaptation of John Steinbeck’s classic novel Of Mice and Men will be released on April 25 and is expected to be available in digital and physical formats.
