Lakeshore Records has released a soundtrack album for the drama The Life of Chuck. The album features the film’s original music composed by The Newton Brothers (X-Men ’97, Daredevil: Born Again, Doctor Sleep, Five Nights at Freddy’s, The Haunting of Hill House, Midnight Mass, The Fall of the House of Usher). Also included is the drum solo track Joy by The Pocket Queen, as well as Gregory Alan Isakov’s cover of The Parting Glass (as featured during the movie’s end credits). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download (in the U.S. & Canada only) on Amazon and most other major digital music services. Also listen to several songs below. The Life of Chuck is written and directed by Mike Flanagan and stars Tom Hiddleston, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Karen Gillan, Carl Lumbly, Mia Sara, Benjamin Pajak, Jacob Tremblay, Annalise Basso, Matthew Lillard, Kate Siegel, David Dastmalchian, The Newton Brothers’s Andy Grush and Mark Hamill. The movie based on Stephen King’s novella of the same title celebrates the life of Charles ‘Chuck’ Krantz as he experiences the wonder of love, the heartbreak of loss, and the multitudes contained in all of us.The drama premiered at last year’s Toronto International Film Festival and is being released in select theaters this weekend by Neon before expanding nationwide next Friday, June 13.
