Marcelo Zarvos has signed on to score the pilot of the upcoming TNT original series Civil. The show is created by Scott Smith (A Simple Plan, The Ruins) and stars Bradley Whitford, Courtney B. Vance, Toby Jones, Brian d’Arcy James, Eliza Coupe and Enrique Murciano. The drama takes place in the wake of a hotly contested Presidential election, as America finds itself plunging uncontrollably into a modern day Civil War. Smith is also executive producing the MGM Television production with Lloyd Braun (Alphas, The Cape) and Thomas Kelly (Copper, The Get Down). Allen Coulter is directing the pilot. Madison Gate Records to Release ‘Outlander’ Season 2 Soundtrack

Madison Gate Records will release a new soundtrack album for the Starz original series Outlander. The album features selections of the music from the show’s second season composed by Bear McCreary (10 Cloverfield Lane, Battlestar Galactica, The Walking Dead, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., The Boy) who received an Emmy Award nomination for his work on the drama last year. The soundtrack will be released physically on October 28, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Check back on this page for the full album details. Lakeshore Records has announced a soundtrack album for the indie drama Captain Fantastic. The album features the film’s original songs by Sigur Rós, Jónsi & Alex, Israel Nash and Kirk Ross. Also included are renditions of the songs Sweet Child O Mine, Scotland The Braver and I Shall Be Released performed by the movie’s cast. The soundtrack will be released digitally and physically on July 15, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. As previously announced, the label will also release a separate soundtrack featuring Alex Somer’s original score from the film. Captain Fantastic is written and directed by Matt Ross and stars Viggo Mortensen, Frank Langella, Kathryn Hahn, George MacKay, Steve Zahn, Samantha Isler, Annalise Basso and Ann Dowd.
