Jeremiah Fraites (of the folk band The Lumineers) is making his narrative feature scoring debut on the upcoming film adaptation of Stephen King’s 1979 novel The Long Walk. The movie is directed by Francis Lawrence (I Am Legend, Constantine) and stars Cooper Hoffman, David Jonsson, Garrett Wareing, Mark Hamill, Tut Nyuot, Charlie Plummer, Judy Greer, Ben Wang, Jordan Gonzalez, Joshua Odjick and Roman Griffin Davis. The horror drama is set in a dystopian America, in which 100 teenage boys embark on the titular annual competition, during which each competitor must keep walking faster than four miles per hour or risk being eliminated. Kakao Entertainment has released a full soundtrack album for the South Korean Netflix original series When Life Gives You Tangerines. The album features 78 tracks of the drama’s original score composed by Park Sung Il (check out the composer’s Theme of Ae-sun below), Kim Hyun Do, Kim Ji Ae, Wonjin Park, Ryu Seung Min & other artists. Also included are the songs from all four chapters of the show performed by lead actress IU, Isaac Hong, Kwak Jin Eon, d.ear, Chu Da Hye, Shim Eun Yong, Ahn Eun Kyung, Hwang Soyoon and Choi Beck Ho & others (previously released a digital EPs over the last few weeks).
