Lakeshore Records has announced a soundtrack album for James Franco’s drama In Dubious Battle. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award nominee Hauschka (aka Volker Bertelmann) (Lion, The Boy). The soundtrack will be released digitally on March 3, 2017. In Dubious Battle based on John Steinbeck’s 1936 novel of the same title stars Franco, Nat Wolff, Selena Gomez, Vincent D’Onofrio, Robert Duvall, Ed Harris, Bryan Cranston, Sam Shepard, Zach Braff and Josh Hutcherson. Sony Classical will release a soundtrack album for the British thriller The Chamber. The album features the movie’s original music composed by Manic Street Preachers lead guitarist and vocalist James Dean Bradfield who made his feature film scoring debut on the project. The soundtrack wil be released on March 10, 2017 and is available for pre-order on Amazon. The Chamber is written and directed by Ben Parker and stars Charlotte Salt, Johannes Kuhnke, Elliot Levey, Christian Hillborg and James McArdle. Lakeshore Records will release the official soundtrack album for the comic book movie Logan directed by James Mangold and starring Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Richard E. Grant, Boyd Holbrook, Stephen Merchant and Dafne Keen. The album features the film’s original music composed by Marco Beltrami (Scream, World War Z) who previously scored Mangold’s The Wolverine and 3:10 to Yuma. Fil Eisler has signed on to score the upcoming comedy Life of the Party. The film is directed by Ben Falcone (Tammy, The Boss) and stars Melissa McCarthy, Julie Bowen, Maya Rudolph, Gillian Jacobs, Jacki Weaver, Debby Ryan, Luke Benward and Matt Walsh.
