The album features the film’s original score composed by Golden Globe nominee Rolfe Kent (Sideways, Up in the Air, Wedding Crashers, Election, Mean Girls), as well as two original songs, Bodi Finds The Fire written by by Adam Friedman & Kent and Glorious by Adam Friedman. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, February 24 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Rock Dog is directed by Ash Brennon and features the voices of JK Simmons, Luke Wilson, Eddie Izzard, Lewis Black, Kenan Thompson, Mae Whitman, Jorge Garcia, Matt Dillon and Sam Elliot.  The movie follows a wide-eyed Tibetan Mastiff who discovers a radio and decides to leave home to fulfill his dream of becoming a musician. The film is written and directed by comedian Noël Wells who also stars in the movie, alongside Nick Thune, Britt Lower, Daniella Pineda, Andre Hyland, Doug Benson, Armen Weitzman and Sergio Cilli. The movie revolves around a struggling comedian who returns to her college town of Austin, Texas and must come to terms with her past while staying with her ex-boyfriend and his new girlfriend. Chris Ohlson (Kumiko, the Treasure Hunter) and Beachside Films’ Michael B. Grant, Boyd Holbrook, Stephen Merchant and Dafne Keen. The album features the film’s original music composed by Marco Beltrami (ScreamWorld War Z) who previously scored Mangold’s The Wolverine and 3:10 to Yuma. The soundtrack will be released in early March. The film is directed by Ben Falcone (TammyThe Boss) and stars Melissa McCarthy, Julie Bowen, Maya Rudolph, Gillian Jacobs, Jacki Weaver, Debby Ryan, Luke Benward and Matt Walsh. No plot details have been announced yet. McCarthy and Falcone also co-wrote the screenplay and are producing the New Line Cinema production with Chris Henchy (Daddy’s Home, Get Hard).
