Two new movies are opening nationwide this weekend:
Opening in most theaters is the comedy The Happytime Murders directed by Brian Henson and starring Melissa McCarthy, Maya Rudolph, Joel McHale and Elizabeth Banks. The film’s original music is composed by Christopher Lennertz (Horrible Bosses, Lost in Space, Ride Along, Agent Carter, Sausage Party). No soundtrack album has been announced yet. Also opening wide is the sci-fi family adventure A.X.L. written and directed by Oliver Daly and starring Alex Neustaedter, Becky G and Alex MacNicoll. Ian Hultquist (Assassination Nation, The Gospel According to Andre, Animals, Ivory Tower, My Blind Brother) has composed the film’s original music.
