Ramin Djawadi and Brandon Campbell have been hired to score the supernatural upcoming horror thriller Slender Man. The film is directed by Sylvain White (The Losers, Stomp the Yard) and stars Joey King, Julia Goldani-Telles, Jaz Sinclair, Annalise Basso and Javier Botet. The movie is based on based on the myth created by Eric Knudsen (aka Victor Surge) and revolves around a tall, thin figure with unnaturally long arms and a featureless face who stalks, abducts and traumatizes people. ‘Samson’ Soundtrack Announced

Dream Records will release a soundtrack album for the biblical drama Samson. The album features songs from and inspired by the movie by artists such as Emmanuel Church, Seacoast Worship, Cindy Cruse Ratcliff, April Nevels, MUSITRY & more. The soundtrack will be released digitally on February 2, 2018 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. Samson is directed by Bruce Macdonald and stars Jackson Rathbone, Billy Zane, Taylor James, Rutger Hauer, Caitlin Leahy, Lindsay Wagner, Frances Sholto-Douglas and Greg Kriek. Colin Stetson is composing the original music for the upcoming horror thriller Hereditary. The film is written and directed by Ari Aster and stars Toni Collette, Gabriel Byrne, Alex Wolff, Ann Dowd and Milly Shapiro. The movie follows the Graham family, after their reclusive grandmother passes away, as they try to escape the dark fate they’ve inherited. Kevin Frakes (American Ultra, Collateral Beauty, Laggies), Lars Knudsen (The Witch, Beginners, American Honey) and Buddy Patrick (Lee Daniels’ The Butler) are producing the project. Johnny Klimek has been tapped to score the upcoming thriller Breaking In. The film is directed by James McTeigue (V for Vendetta, Ninja Assassin, The Raven) and stars Gabrielle Union, Christa Miller, Ajiona Alexus and Billy Burke. The movie follows a woman who, after the sudden death of her father, takes her two kids to her father’s Malibu mansion to settle his estate, when four villains intent on finding the deceased’s safe and making off with its contents enter the premise. ‘Travelers’ Soundtrack Announced

Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the sci-fi drama series Travelers. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s first season composed by Adam Lastiwka. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, January 5, 2018. The download link will be added to this article later this week. Travelers is created by Brad Wright and stars Eric McCormack, MacKenzie Porter, Nesta Cooper, Jared Abrahamson, Reilly Dolman and Patrick Gilmore. The drama follows a federal agent who tracks four people who suddenly seem to possess entirely new personalities, leading to a startling discovery about humanity’s future. Joseph Stephens is composing the score for the upcoming comedy Arizona. The film marks the directorial debut of Jonathan Watson and stars Danny McBride, Rosemarie DeWitt, Luke Wilson, Lolli Sorenson, Elizabeth Gillies and Kaitlin Olson. The movie is set in the midst of the 2009 housing crisis and follows a single mom and struggling realtor whose life goes off the rails when she witnesses a murder. John Williams revealed in a recent interview with Variety that he will compose the theme for the title character for the upcoming Solo: A Star Wars Story. As reported this past summer, John Powell is composing the score for the movie directed by Ron Howard and starring Alden Ehrenreich, Woody Harrelson, Emilia Clarke, Donald Glover, Thandie Newton, Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Joonas Suotamo. Lawrence Kasdan (Raiders of the Lost ArkReturn of the Jedi) and Jon Kasdan wrote the screenplay. The only movie opening nationwide this week is the dramatic thriller All the Money in the World directed by Ridley Scott and starring Michelle Williams, Christopher Plummer, Mark Wahlberg, Romain Duris, Charlie Plummer and Timothy Hutton. The film’s original music is composed by Daniel Pemberton (Steve JobsMolly’s GameThe Man from U.N.C.L.E.King Arthur: Legend of the SwordGold).
