The film is directed by Sylvain White (The Losers, Stomp the Yard) and stars Joey King, Julia Goldani-Telles, Jaz Sinclair, Annalise Basso and Javier Botet. ‘Samson’ Soundtrack Announced

Dream Records will release a soundtrack album for the biblical drama Samson. The album features songs from and inspired by the movie by artists such as Emmanuel Church, Seacoast Worship, Cindy Cruse Ratcliff, April Nevels, MUSITRY & more. The soundtrack will be released digitally on February 2, 2018 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. Samson is directed by Bruce Macdonald and stars Jackson Rathbone, Billy Zane, Taylor James, Rutger Hauer, Caitlin Leahy, Lindsay Wagner, Frances Sholto-Douglas and Greg Kriek. Travelers is created by Brad Wright and stars Eric McCormack, MacKenzie Porter, Nesta Cooper, Jared Abrahamson, Reilly Dolman and Patrick Gilmore. Premiering on Wednesday, January 3, is the new Freeform original series Grown-ish created by Kenya Barris & Larry Wilmore and starring Yara Shahidi, Deon Cole, Chris Parnell, Emily Arlook, Trevor Jackson, Francia Raisa and Jordan Buhat. The show’s original music is composed by Vincent Jones (Up All Night, Parks & Recreation theme song, F Is for Family). Premiering on Friday, January 5, in the U.S. is the horror thriller Before I Wake co-written and directed by Mike Flanagan and starring Kate Bosworth, Thomas Jane, Annabeth Gish, Dash Mihok and Jacob Tremblay. The Newton Brothers (Oculus, Ouija: Origin of Evil, Life of Crime, Gerald’s Game) have composed the film’s original score and Danny Elfman (Spider-Man, Batman, Alice in Wonderland) has provided the themes and additional music. John Williams to Compose Theme for ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’

John Williams revealed in a recent interview with Variety that he will compose the theme for the title character for the upcoming Solo: A Star Wars Story. As reported this past summer, John Powell is composing the score for the movie directed by Ron Howard and starring Alden Ehrenreich, Woody Harrelson, Emilia Clarke, Donald Glover, Thandie Newton, Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Joonas Suotamo. Lawrence Kasdan (Raiders of the Lost Ark, Return of the Jedi) and Jon Kasdan wrote the screenplay. The only movie opening nationwide this week is the dramatic thriller All the Money in the World directed by Ridley Scott and starring Michelle Williams, Christopher Plummer, Mark Wahlberg, Romain Duris, Charlie Plummer and Timothy Hutton. The film’s original music is composed by Daniel Pemberton (Steve Jobs, Molly’s Game, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, Gold). Sony Classical has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score last week. Check out our previous news article for the full album details. The movie opened in theaters on Christmas Day, December 25.
Daniel Pemberton has also composed the music for the drama Molly’s Game written and directed by Aaron Sorkin and starring Jessica Chastain, Idris Elba, Kevin Costner, Michael Cera, Jeremy Strong, Chris O’Dowd and Bill Camp.
