Hollywood Records will release the first soundtrack album for Marvel’s Hulu original series Runaways. The album features a selections of songs from the show’s first season by artists such as Francis and the Lights, Glass Animals, Billie Eilish, Sofi Tukker, Lizzy Land & more. Also included is the main titles theme by the series’ composer Siddhartha Khosla (This Is Us, The Royals, The Neighbors), as well as the original song Gert’s Lullaby, which he co-wrote with Ariela Barer. Matteo Zingales (The Hunter, Secrets & Lies) & Antony Partos (Animal Kingdom, The Rover) are reteaming with director Ramin Bahrani on the upcoming HBO original movie Fahrenheit 451. The film starring Michael B. Jordan, Michael Shannon, Sofia Boutella and Lilly Singh is based on Ray Bradbury’s classic novel of the same name, depicting a future where the media is an opiate, history is rewritten and “firemen” burn books. Bahrani (At Any Price, Goodbye Solo) also co-wrote the script with Amir Naderi (Vegas: Based on a True Story) and is executive producing the project with Jordan, Sarah Green (The Tree of Life, Mud, Loving, Frida), Alan Gasmer (Vikings) and Peter Jaysen (Fired Up!). HBO announced today that Pearl Jam lead guitarist Mike McCready has composed the original score for the upcoming documentary Elvis Presley: The Searcher. The movie directed by Thom Zimny focuses on Elvis Presley the musical artist, taking the audience on a comprehensive creative journey from his childhood through the final 1976 Jungle Room recording sessions. The 3-hour film features more than 20 new, primary source interviews with session players, producers, engineers, directors and other artists who knew him or who were profoundly influenced by him.
