Genie Music has released a soundtrack album for the South Korean sci-fi action epic Alienoid: Return to the Future. The album features the film’s original music composed by Jang Young-gyu (Train to Busan, Star Wars Visions: Journey to the Dark), Byung Hoon Lee, Lee Kang Wook & Kim Sun. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Alienoid: Return to the Future is directed by Choi Dong-hoon and stars Ryu Jun-yeol, Kim Tae-ri and Kim Woo-bin. The film is written and directed by Matthew Loren Oates and stars Lulu Wilson, Omari Hardwick and Trae Romano. Superman: Dawn of Justice, Alita: Battle Angel) is set to return to score the action comedy sequel Sonic the Hedgehog 3. The film is directed by Jeff Fowler (who previously helmed the first two installments) and stars James Marsden, Ben Schwartz, Tika Sumpter, Lee Majdoub, Colleen O’Shaughnessey and Idris Elba who will reprise their roles from the previous movies. The album features the film’s original music composed by Lauri Porra (Rat King, Heavy Trip) and performed by the Lahti Symphony Orchestra conducted by Dalia Stasevska. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, February 2 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Alejandro Amenábar is set to compose the music for the upcoming Spanish period adventure epic The Captive (El Cautivo). The filmmaker will also direct the movie, which will star Julio Peña and Alessandro Borghi and tells the origin story of Miguel de Cervantes, author of the iconic novel Don Quixote, who – at the age of 28 – was taken captive by the Moors in Algiers, leading to his creative birth.
