Jon Brion has signed on to score the upcoming romantic comedy Isn’t It Romantic?. The film is directed by Todd Strauss-Schulson (A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas, The Final Girls) and stars Rebel Wilson, Adam Devine, Liam Hemsworth, Priyanka Chopra and Betty Gilpin. The movie tells the story of a cynical woman who discovers that her life has become a romantic comedy, and she goes from sidekick to center stage. Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the horror thriller The Cured. The album features the film’s original music composed by Rory Friers & Niall Kennedy of the Irish rock band And So I Watch You From Afar. The soundtrack will be released digitally on March 2, 2018 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The Cured is written and directed by David Freyne and stars Ellen Page, Sam Keeley, Tom Vaughan-Lawlor and Paula Malcomson. The movie is set in a future where zombies try to reintegrate with society after a plague infects mankind. RCA Records will release a soundtrack album for DreamWorks Animation’s Netflix series Trolls: The Beat Goes On!. The album features the main titles song Hair in the Air performed by Amanda Leighton & Skylar Astin and written by Jeannie Lurie, Mia Minichiello & Matias Mora. Also included are the other original songs from the show’s first two seasons written by Alana Da Fonseca and performed by the series’ voice cast. The soundtrack will be released physically on March 23, 2018 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A digital EP featuring six songs is already available to download here. Trolls: The Beat Goes On! is developed by Matthew Ireland Beans and features the voices of Leighton & Astin, as well as Ron Funches, David Fynn, David Koechner, Sean T. Krishnan and Sam Lerner. The full details of the soundtrack album for Disney’s fantasy drama A Wrinkle in Time have been announced. The album features the film’s original score composed by Ramin Djawadi (Game of Thrones, Westworld, Pacific Rim, Iron Man) who recorded his music in Los Angeles with a 71-piece orchestra and a 29-person choir, as well as a 24-member children’s choir. Also included is the end-credit song I Believe performed by DJ Khaled feat. Demi Lovato and written by Khaled, Lovato, Denisia “Blu June” Andrews & Brittany “Chi” Coney. Also featured are two versions of Flower of the Universe performed by Sade and co-written by the singer/songwriter, Ben Travers & Andrew Hale, as well as Sia’s original song Magic, which she co-wrote with Jesse Shatkin, Kehlani’s Let Me Live and Warrior written and performed by sisters Chloe x Halle. Hollywood Bowl 2018 Season Schedule Announced

The Hollywood Bowl has announced this summer’s season schedule, which includes a number of film music concerts. On July 5, the Bowl will host a live to projection concert for Patrick Doyle’s score for Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Justin Freer will conduct the Los Angeles Philharmonic. Alexandre Desplat is set to reteam with Jacques Audiard on the upcoming noir western The Sisters Brothers. The film marks the director’s first English language feature and stars Joaquin Phoenix, Jake Gyllenhaal, John C. Reilly and Riz Ahmed. The movie is based on Patrick deWitt’s novel of the same title and follows two brothers in 1850s Oregon who are hired to kill a prospector. Audiard also co-wrote the screenplay with Thomas Bidegain.
